Terrible design
If you want to sleep on the cold dirt and be soaking wet by morning, then this is the tent for you. Even morning dew SOAKS the inside of the tent. It might be big enough for ONE person comfortably but DEFINATELY NOT TWO!!! The support pole (WHICH granted is this entire design) blocks any practicality let alone space for a stove.....just terribly misleading. Until you set it up and then think....ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCE.

Challenging At First
I've never seen or used a tent structure like this before. It can be configured to provide additional storage, weather protection, or a covered place for relaxing. It's unique and cool, and it works great at home or on vacation such as camping. However, for it to function well, it must be put up correctly and elevated above the ground. This tent's sturdy, thick, waterproof design will come in handy in the event of rain or other severe weather. The first time around, setting everything up took a little while and was challenging, but the second time around was a lot simpler after reading the instructions, practicing, and grasping it all. I can't wait to use this on our next family camping trip. It is reasonably priced, works effectively, and the color blends perfectly with the surroundings of the outdoors.

Nice Base Camping Tent!
This is the base part to the tent kit. It will keep the bugs out for sure! It is made with high quality materials and workmanship for sure!

Perfect tent
This is a sweet tent. The best part is it's made from canvas. Fast and easy to set up. If you don't want to drag a big tent take this one and have some fun.

Well made but somewhat bulky and heavy mesh inner tent. Asymmetric
This mesh tent is well made of durable materials and is easy to set up. The floor is fairly tear resistant but I would advise using a light weight footprint, for example one made from a sheet of polycro window film.I set it up using a ridgeline between two trees, and the included toggles/buttons make that easy. However, you can tell that it "prefers" to be set up with poles. A set of this mesh tent and a 3x3m waterproof tarp should be all you need for camping in almost any weather (3 season), so what are its shortcomings? As well as the tent for which it was specifically designed (you can find it easily on Amazon) this mesh inner tent is also very vertical, leaning at a fairly sharp angle. This makes it very susceptible to wind. As you can see in one of my photos, just a slight breeze pushes it aside quite a bit, even without the outer tent, so be aware of this and set it up in line with the prevailing wind or shielded by some bushes. Secondly, the provided steel stakes (6 in all) are quite heavy and all of them are necessary to keep the inner space open and not collapsing on you. Although they are quite heavy and large, they are not very strong. You can see in one of my pictures I stepped on one to drive it into the ground and it bent easily. After that I hammered in the rest and they were ok.Thirdly, the materials, the design and the included stakes add up to a rather large and weighty package when rolled up. It takes up quite a bit of space in your pack and weighs more than a mesh tent should. If you add the tarp and its stakes and lines, you are looking at 5 pounds or more. There are complete tents with poles and all which weigh less that that. Finally, the space inside is limited by its off-center design, and its sensitivity to wind making it usable only as a one person tent. There are many more convenient, lighter, better designed and less expensive one person options out there. I don't think I will be using this with a tarp to camp in, perhaps only when rain is completely out of the picture (under a shelter/roof in an insect prone area, or a desert environment maybe. Just be aware of what is and what it isn't.
