HapWay Stainless Steel Steamer Basket with Steam Rack trivet Compatible 5,6,8 qt Electric Pressure Cooker

I bought two steamer baskets so that I can double stack them in my 8qt pressure cooker and make twice as many dumplings.The problem is that the legs on the stand are too short to do this and just placing the second basket on top of the first one is very unstable.I took a stainless straw and cut it into thirds…about 2 5/8” long (72mm). I bent one end in a bit so it grips the original leg so that it doesn’t fall off but can be removed easily.Now I can double stack them in the pressure cooker. The lid of the instant pot fits nicely.Just extend the legs on one trivet.Have the shorter one on the bottom of the instant pot, place one steamer on top then place the longer legged trivet inside that one then place the second steamer on top of that.It takes up very little space inside the first basket, the legs are removable for cleaning if desired, won’t rust, it’s very stable and gives more versatility to your cooking.I did my dumplings for the first time and it went great. I highly recommend this steamer even if you only need one.The legs could be longer however if they were both long it wouldn’t fit. It would be nice if they included three leg extensions to the kit so you could do what I did without cutting up a straw. I still give it 5 stars.

This is not just for steaming vegetables. I just steamed some frozen home made pot stickers and they turned out great. I like that the bottom is flat ( only a couple ridges/2 rings). The sides are about 2 1/2 inches tall. Best of all, there are holes on the sides as well as the bottom. Better than a bamboo steamer for sure. The holes look too big for rice though. The trivet is heavy duty and can be used for other things. Better than the one that came with my pot. Easy clean up with a parchment on the bottom.

The rack holds the steamer basket higher than the wire mesh basket I was using, which I like. Also, the flat bottom of the stainless basket is roomier than the wire mesh basket which is shaped like a tapered bowl, making it easier to place veggies. But most of all, it's much easier to clean.

It worked great in my instapot and cleanup was so easy.

Fabulous. I use it as a vegetable steamer for black and decker rice cooker, since I didn’t like the plastic one that it came with.This was the only one that was small enough to fit, but it is nice and deep, and well made. I don’t need the bottom rack for my purpose. I sometimes use the steamer for veggies twice when cooking rice. Easier to remove using a spatula to grab the top handles than I thought. The lid to the rise steamer doesn’t fit exactly but the steam still stays in perfectly

I have the 5 qt. Ninja Foodie which does not come with a steamer basket. This trivet and steamer basket fits inside but not smugly. It works but could have had a smidge greater diameter.

Love this set, we bought two steamer trays so we cook our hard boiled eggs and transfer them straight to the frig that way! They have held up well so far, handles are staying put, and they don’t feel cheap or thin for the money.

If you have an instant pot you need this.

I bought this as a replacement for the screen containers I had originally with my instant pots. This will be easier to clean and it should last longer than the screen items I currently use.
