Nice compact tool tho the main shaft is using the wrong type of metal and is prone to snapping if placed under sideway stress so try and avoid one handed use and make sure when pressed down no stress is placed sideways or you may have make your own replacement part to repair it.This is the only thing that let’s it down, the performance a great.Price wise it’s a tad over priced tho with todays world of high fuel prices and cost of energy it’s not a bad price and if the shaft was a better quality metal I wouldn’t have any issues with the asking price.

A bit costly, but you buy into this when you get the soldering iron so not unexpected. This means i shouldn't have to buy any more for a few years hopefully. Let's see, shall we?

Easy to use, nice and hot and quick to power up, fabulous portable iron. Only wish would be a storage case to keep it safe and secure in the toolbox.No regrets though👍

This is a really neat, highly responsive cordless soldering iron but the first one had to go back cos it simply fell apart as I screwed the soldering tip on. So don’t expect industrial level durability

Brilliant cable free iron.

Complicated to turn on and off. Charge doesn’t last long, small jobs only, doesn’t cope well in cold conditions

Value for money and unique tool!

Bought this for use on my model railway so that I did not have cables dangling around when soldering wire to the tracks. It works well but the dcharge does not last that long.
