Is this mask effective for bicycling as well?

In my opinion, the mask is good for all types of activities, but you will have to judge for yourself on effectiveness. I use the mask to build up my tolerance doing challenging physical activities under oxygen deprivation. Muscles -- your whole body -- need adequate oxygen to function effectively. For me, I definitely feel a marked, albeit gradual improvement in cardiovascular endurance after using the mask.
