Seasonic M12II-EVO 520W (80+Bronze, ATX 12V) PSU/Power Supply - Black

620w - In normal operation this psu is great, Seasonic have always made good power supplies. Semi-modular, black cabling (no ketchup and mustard), 2x 6(8) gpu pin connectors and cpu power, loads of cables (if a bit long even for full atx cases).I can't give this psu the 5 stars it almost deserves - older internals and, yes, the under load noise issue! It's really loud, and I really do mean loud. This psu, despite having a fluid bearing 120mm fan, once it hits load (my calculated wattage load is only 500w, so I've laods of headroom) it drowns out all other noise from the pc.....so much so I play my games with headphones on to block out the sound.I bought this is May and, sorry to say, I am looking for an alternative as this is not good enough. Pitty it's right at the time when global psu prices are sky high, but I have no choice - the noise is so offputting.

That's right, you don't need a 600-700w PSU for a Vega, a rock solid quality PSU of this calibre with 520w will power Vega 100% with no risks, just undervolt your Vega 56 as it nets you an insane 9%-14% FPS increase in 4k and thus make it basically equal to a stock non overclocked 1080! Imagine that, that's literally a whole GPU tier. Been using this PSU and my Vega for around a year and powers my Vega at full power and wattage for hours no problem. Bought it for 50 quid at the time so was a steal.

Very good psu, it is my first full modular psu, but for the price it could be somewhat cheaper as this is classed as a type 2 psu (on tomshardware forum site) according to the quality. The reason i took out a star is because for its price, the cables shouldnt be so difficult to remove from the psu, especially the motherboard cable. Once you connect the cable to the psu end, you have to really jerk it out of the psu if you plan on taking it out again. One of my friends help me chose this modular power supply and I must say it's really useful, especially for me being my first build. You can use only the wires that you need and it's excellent for cable management from this point of view. It's really intuitive and looks really well made and sturdy.Even though it was shipped with an EU power lead rather than an UK one, still giving it 5 stars. But amazon support was really prompt and got back to me on a Sunday (!) with a resolution.I definitely recommend this for first time builders as myself and you can't go wrong with this and it gives 5 years solid warranty hence your expensive parts are insured.

Seasonic is basically the only brand you can absolutely trust for PSU's unless you spend ungodly amounts on 1000W Gold Rank power supplies. Their electronics are just quality.There's not much to say about PSU's in a review. It gives your PC power. But of course, that's a critical job, and its one area you never skimp on. A budget one erupting in flame and fusing your entire motherboard is not a good idea.

Great fit for my ATX build, loved the packaging as it was very well presented. You can place this upside down in your case if you have an opening for a fan on the bottom of your case. Arrived in great time as I was without one as my previous one was faulty.I'd never heard of Seasonic before but I'm really glad I bought this :)

This part was delivered well and put into son’s new PC and works well over the past 3 months hence deserves a 5 star for now. Hope it lasts too.

My first modular power supply was enjoyable to use and easy to install . .
