No frills cine lens
Affordable, fast manual prime. It breathes. It's not the sharpest wide open. But it's made of metal, has a nice stiff geared focus and aperture ring, and fits on my a7 III or FS5 without any fiddly adapters. Sure there's no metadata. But Lawrence of Arabia didn't need no metadata. I've made some fantastic images with this lens and will keep using it as my daily driver on the a7 iii.

Interesting lens, not so much for pixel peepers though
This is my first foray into manual Cine lens. It's a well built lens, with smooth focus and aperture rings that work well with my Tilta nano. I think for the price it's excellent. It's an interesting lens for videos. Adds a certain character to my shots. Definitely not the lens for photography since it's flaws are much more obvious in photos but are rather pleasing in videos. I like it so much that I went back and bought the entire Cineprime line.

I didn’t keep, but not because I didn’t like it!
Lovely renderings from this lens, and it’s nice to have gears for cine use. I only returned because I decided to go with a set of dedicated Meike cine primes in order to get dimensional (as in weight, gear locations, etc) and image consistency. I consider this lens a good performer, and a bargain, though.

Butterly smooth bokeh but makes camera front heavy.
Happy with built and optic quality but makes my camera (a7 Mark iii) very front heavy.

Manual focus lens that takes awhile to learn but colors nicely
This lens delivers wonderful warm colors and I have captured some of my favorite shots with it. It is great in low light. However, it WILL NOT focus wide open on objects from 4-30 feet. Once you get up to f5.6 it behaves well, but at lower stops it is about 6 inches off. After 1000s of shots I am resigned to using it stopped down.A shame really as it is a great feeling lens and the build quality seems excellent.EDITEDOk I am rather red faced to find out it was my focus magnification technique.Lesson learned on studying and learning and continuing to try. I am finding I end up with this lens on my camera my often than not because I just love the colors. So yeah, 4 stars after all. I like it so much I am probably going to pick up the 25mm version.Oh yeah. It shoots some really good looking video too. And the gearless aperture is very nice.
