I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour. It's not like any other tea I've tasted tbh, although it is unmistakably tea. It has a astringent kick to it that isn't unpleasant, and a nice fresh, strong leafy tea flavour. It also has a very slight spicy aftertaste to it also. I will definitely be buying more of this and other Turkish loose teas.
