Really good Turkish tea at a very reasonable price
Having been on holiday to Antalya I was missing good Turkish tea. Found this loose tea with a brewing teapot and special shaped glass cups on Amazon. This tea is even better quality and taste compared to what I had in Turkey. The price is cheap and this big bag should last me a good six months to a year. Drinking Turkish tea every day has now become a new relaxing hobby thanks to this tea. Highly recommend it and will buy it again.

Absolutely delicious black tea.
This tasted exactly like the complimentary tea that I love from my favourite Turkish restaurant.I loved it so much that asked the waiter what brand they used and he recommended I tried this one and baby I’m not disappointed!It’s good quality as it’s not the saw dust you get in tea bags. It’s nice leaves 🍃.The pack is very big and even if you’re a big tea drinker like me chugging down 4-5 cups a day this pack will last you ages. Just now months later I’m getting to end end of the pack and about to repurchase another!If you compare the weight of this vs yea bags andCompare the price you’ll be shocked at how much cheaper this is for the quality!My favourite way of enjoying it is with a little brown sugar and it tastes just like the restaurant one!I also enjoy dehydrating orange slice or peels and adding them into the tea and it adds an additional flavour that marries together perfectly.

Authentic Tea
Lovely tea to have at any time or as tradition in Turkey after a meal.

tea
Very smooth, has an indescribable damp pipe tobacco flavour reminds me of a lot of chinese teas, fresh and grassy as it cools, addictive and easy to drink, slight spice. Would be a good match with tobacco as previously mentioned.Definitely turkish tea, it's what they serve in the middle eastern restaurants I have been to. It can steep for a surprising amount of time, large amount of dust, though.

Tea that isn't really like anything you would typically get in UK Supermarkets.
Never tried Turkish tea in my life, but with the price of teabags in the UK and remembering how much I loved loose tea as a kid and teen when living with my Grandad, I thought I'd give it a try since it's really very cheap compared to even the cheapest/nastiest teabags. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour. It's not like any other tea I've tasted tbh, although it is unmistakably tea. It has a astringent kick to it that isn't unpleasant, and a nice fresh, strong leafy tea flavour. It also has a very slight spicy aftertaste to it also. I will definitely be buying more of this and other Turkish loose teas. I can see why some are put off by it, as it isn't really like anything you would typically get in UK Supermarkets, which have very few tea options, and I think this has narrowed our palette toward a certain criteria of how tea should taste.

Great value, great taste
Not a 'normal' tea fan but this is quality and at a great price. Well worth the money

Bring it to boil.\nReduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes so that the heat reaches the tea leaves in the small tea pot.\nTransfer more than half of the water in the large tea pot into the small teapot. Fill the large one with additional water and put them back on the stove. Again the small tea pot over the large tea pot. Bring the water to boil first and reduce the heat to the lowest and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. The tea will be brewed as the tea leaves will sink by the end of this time. So I pour the hot water into the teapot with 2 or 3 spoons of the Turkish tea, leave it brew, then as I'm pouring it into my cup I have a strainer over my cup to stop all the leaves going into my cup. Hope this helps weeeee ☺ enjoy your tea 🍵"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Does this tea contain caffeine ?","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Hi, yes it contains caffeine."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"What is the expiry date for this tea as there is nothing on the packet.","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Lovely cups of Turkish tea. Mine does have an expiry date and it is 3 years from the date of packing. The date on my packet is written under CAYKUR. To be honest it is tea leaves that have been dried and treated so it will last the distance."}}]}]}
