WallboxBerlin EV J1772 Connector & Cable Holster – EV Charger Accessory for Organized & Secure Storage

Maybe I got lucky but my order arrived with Hardware (pair of 5x40mm screws and anchors). I only needed to use the screws since it was getting installed on an outdoor wood fence. Worked like a charm. Purchased this additional unit, since my parking spot is tight with the obvious obstacle in the way (see with and without obstacle); with the 25ft OEM charging chord and location of my EV’s charging port, I wanted to have the convenience of not having to maneuver around the obstacle everyday. Went ahead and installed the additional Charging Holster and it makes my daily routine so much better. Well worth the $25 spent on this unit & installed in 5 mins. Before and After pics included.

Works great. Allows me to store extra cable and the charge connector on the other side of the garage. I was limited where I could connect my charger to 220 volt, but it has enough cable to span across the wall to the other end where the charge port of my car is located when parked in the garage. This lets me keep the charge connector and the extra slack where my charge port is located. Just make sure you lift the J1772 handle upward to allow it to attach to the cradle so the J1772 latch can connect and hold in place.

Probably would have been good enough, but it didn't come with the hardware to install. I ended up using the Grizzly-e ungraded plug holder, though it doesn't have a snug fit for the plug.
