This is just cool. At first it looks like only a teenager would be interested in this, but I'm a middled aged man and I'm using it to write something special for someone as a gift.The cover feels like leather and the pages look and feel like old parchment. It has one hundred blank pages, but they are thick. The clasp looks like old bronze and the entire book, while being a facsimile, is of high quality. This should last a long time.The design on the front is a tree in a female form, meant to associate the book with the goddess or Earth Centered mystical or magical forces.While it doesn't appear to be real religious symbols, it is titled a " Blank Spell Book of Shadows" so I recommend considering the religious considerations of anyone gifted this. Also, the feminine design of the tree may be a little mature for younger people .I can't wait to transcribe my writings in this. It will increase the impact of my words.

It says 200 pages but the actual journal has 100 pages. The size is also wrong. False description of product. I gave two stars because the cover is nice. Won't buy again.

I love everything about this book! The leather cover has a beautiful design, and there's a metal lock clasp. It's a handmade item with thick pages and super strong binding. (These pages are NOT going to fall out.) The pages will handle multiple kinds of ink which sort of adds to that old-age feel. So, you can write your deep thoughts, do calligraphy, draw, etc without worrying about it bleeding to the other pages.I buy journals pretty much every year for myself and for my daughter in law. I spend a long time picking out "the one." I didn't take two seconds looking at this one before I knew it was "the one." If you want something unique, this is it. What a great price for something so one of a kind.

This is EXACTLY as shown in the photos! As an extra bonus, they send a pretty bag in case you decide to gift it. (Not happening here.) The pages are thick and well crafted, so you can use either a regular pen, dip pen, fountain pen, or drawing ink on them. The book is well bound so you won't have pages falling out. The cover is really lovely and the design and colours are vivid and evocative of the Mother Goddess Tree of Life. I absolutely adore this journal/book of shadows! Great for daily diary dishing or spell keeping. I've seen a lot of these out there, and the price is usually MUCH higher. Fabulous book. Excellent price!

This is a beautiful handmade book, handmade deckle edge paper, hand painted cover (leather) with a nice metal closure. There are many pages! It also comes with a mesh decorated with golden florals keepsake bag. Such a nice gift for anyone who journals, or who writes spells, or likes to create small drawings. I just got a set of vintage colors gel pens which I will be using with this book. It really is a special little book to carry in one's purse or backback for daily thoughts and drawings.

This book is really lovely and very well made. I love the quality of the paper and all the details on the cover. Wish I'd had this years ago when I first started writing. Really lovely book and would definitely recommend!

This is beautiful!Exactly as pictured. It is pretty high quality. And it comes with it's own little bag. I can't wait to use this as sketch journal!
