Syphon Issue
The plants keep syphoning even when the pump is not running. Is the away to avoid this issue?

It works:)
I am still in the testing phase to determine the optimal duration and frequency of having the irrigation switching on/ off. Instruction guidance is a bit lacking in that area.At present, for the 15 drip nozzles, I have set it to drip for 4 minutes every two days. One week has gone by, and the bucket is about half-wayWill measure the moisture levels this week to see whether it is at an acceptable level or not.It would have been helpful if the manufacturer provided some table (duration/ frequency) for optimal settings

Plants alive!
Rarely do I write reviews, but so impressed by this. Set up two systems, with multiple plants on each (one upstairs and one down). As the plants had different needs, put some of the smaller ones in the sink so the water could flow out if too much. Attached each system to a bucket of water. Absolutely brilliant! Came home after almost three weeks to all the plants alive and looking healthy. Wish we had got this sooner. No more worrying about having to ask someone to pop in and look after all the plants. Very happy!

Awesome
We invested in some window boxes for our balcony last year and with holidays looming, how to protect our investment and keep the flowers watered?I did a lot of research, looked at solar powered options etc.In the end I took a punt on this unit and I have absolutely no regrets.I purchased the 15L plastic Jerry can from Halfords as my water source as it fits the space nicely. Sat atop this is this beauty of a battery powered watering gizmo. I have it set to water once a day for 30 seconds which seems perfect. The supplied hose and connectors were simple to install and connect up to my three window boxes. The unit is designed for indoor use and this for me was the grey area as I was going to leave it outdoors. How long would it last out there …… To provide weather protection to the unit I used a Percy Pig plastic biscuit tub from M&S that we just happened to have. You could use one of those plastic tubs from any supermarket or even a paint nettle for that matter as a dime over the top so the rain can’t get to it.6 months since I had the unit and it’s still on its first set of batteries and it performs perfectly. You could spend way more on a fancier unit but why would you.If this one ever gives up, I’ll be buying a new one. My plants give it 5 ⭐️

Awful quality control
I bought this unit and spent a few hours to set it all up cutting the tube and fitting connectors etc. I tested it in manual mode and it all worked fine. However, the unit doesn’t let me program it as the display seems to turn off and on itself every few seconds (as shown in the attached video). Also, the tube are wrapped so tight that the tubes had kinks on it (picture attached). I have ordered a new one and that unit seems to be okay.

👍🏻Very cool tool but requires some practice.
The pump works very well but it is not that easy using it as a beginner. First of all if you connect the dippers, the flow of water is not enough to water big plants, as it seems to remain stuck in the tube. But if you take off the dippers and leave the tube without any ending part (or if you create you own cap) it works very well. It take several tries to understand how many seconds of watering you need and how often. Once you get it you can create a very easy automated watering system for you indoor plants. I would really recommend it 👍🏻

easy to set up
you need a 1A USB power supply and batteries to run it but once you have the right power source it's easy to set up and not at all complicated to program. But it's not so easy to judge how thirsty a new plant is going to be so have a good couple of weeks to play with it before you go away.

Useful automatic irrigation for holidays
Very easy to use. The screen is sometimes a bit slow to react so don't keep pressing!
