Easy to use home test kit
This Swiss product was priced competitively and comes as a pack to undertake one single fingerprick blood test to measure your PSA. All items are supplied in the pack with clear-to-follow instructions in the accompanying pamphlet complete with diagrams in multiple languages. The single use at home test cassette provides immediate results and provides an indicator either ‘Negative’ (normal levels) or ‘Positive’ (increased levels) in which case you can go visit your doctor for further advise. I had completed the test within 5 minutes to provide peace of mind. Recommended.

Great quality product!
Great quality product especially for the price. The product comes with instructions and you follow the steps which are really easy to do and understand. The puncture needles are sharp and work well and allow the right amount of blood drops to come out your finger. You get 2 lansets incase you were not lucky in creating blood in the first go, luckily for me it worked the first time, you also get a small alcoholic wipe to wipe your finger with, also you get a pipette and this is the only item in the testing kit that is useless and low quality, it is supposed to retract blood drops into the pipette however it does not do this, so when doing the test I suggest just making 2 large drops of blood into the test stick as this is what I did and it worked. You then add 2 drops of this liquid and then wait 5 minutes for the results, it seemed as though the test did work as either 2 lines (positive) or just a line came up (negative) in my case only one line came up so I cannot really comment if the test does provide true and accurate results. Overall great product for the price!

Excellent.
This really was a no-brainer. The alternative to home testing is for me to take a morning off work without pay, wait an hour to get through to the surgery, perhaps get a telephone appointment, go to the surgery to pick up the blood test forms, take another morning off work to attend a blood clinic, then wait five working days for the result - which I'm sure would have been the same as the one I received in five minutes. I followed the instructions and everything worked exactly as it should. No PSA test is 100% reliable so it's impossible to comment as to the test's accuracy but it provides a certain reassurance and I intend repeating the test on an annual basis.

More questions than answers
I bought this alongside some more generic off-brand PSA kits, and I think this is the better one. But it still leaves a lot to be desired. The main issue is filling the capillary tube with your blood. You're supposed to get enough blood to fill to the black line, but this was just impossible for me. It stopped taking-up blood around halfway to that point. Still, I ejected what I had onto the test strip and added the drops of buffer solution, as directed. I got a negative result. But is that really negative? Maybe it's because I wasn't able to add enough blood...? More questions than answers, to be blunt, sadly making it a complete waste of time. Just go and see your doctor if you're concerned.

Easy to use
It was easy to use, other than I pressed the wrong end of the first lancer. Anyway, I think for £9 for peace of mind it's worth doing.
