I bought this to see if it would help with my planter fascitis and I have been using it a couple times a day for 3 days now and it has helped tremendously! This thing is a life saver. I am too young to be having chronic pain in my feet. Definitely worth it and price is great too. Would recommend.

I used if for the second time yesterday and the LED display failed. Half the numbers are missing parts, for example, when a number should be zero, only some of the LED display works so it looks like 7. Also some of the menu items have disappeared from the screen.ORIGINAL REVIEW JANUARY 23I already have a TENS unit that does EMS and Massage like this one. On my existing unit you have numbered programs only, nothing identifies which ones are EMS, TENS or Massage. Also on my existing unit once the prescribed time is up, the unit turns itself off. If you want another session you have to turn it on and go through the menus and start again.This unit solves all the user interface issues that I have with my existing unit. This unit has a menu heading at the top that tells you which function you are in. TENS, EMS or Massage. This is changed by pressing through the function (f) button.Once you are in the function you want, you can cycle through the Mode button (M) and you can see on the screen what you are selecting as you cycle through the modes. In EMS and TENS you are selecting body parts. In Massage you are selecting descriptive words that correlate to the feeling you get from that setting, such as 'tap' and 'knead'.One of the other issues this unit fixes is that you can add extra time by pressing the button with the clock face on while the unit is in use. On my old unit you could not add time or even change the time at the start of a program.As a bonus this unit can run on its own internal battery which you can charge with the provided USB charging cable. If you forget to charge it you can also put in 3 AAA to run it.The connections seem to be standard and work with my existing conductive pads.REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. Much more expensive than this so i am biased in expectation. For the price i think this is okay. But it lacks some things. You cant attenuate or modulate the wave. Like speed up ir slow down control peaks etc. That i guess it what separates an expensive unit from something more economical. Also, it has a very bright screen which seems like it would hurt battery life in my opinion. That said i ran it for about an hour trying out all the patterns and the onboard battery didnt dip at all. And its rechargeable so maybe its not an issue. The other thing that hurts it is to power off you have to press the power button for many seconds. Its not a simple off. Which seems important if you need to shut the current off quick. There are several patterns and programs but you cant play with their waveforms. You can increase or decrease instensity. Not speed not spacing. Its just not very customizable.

I'm using it to relieve the pain in my calf. The product is easy to use and the user manual is great. As a first time user, I was very happy with the manual and following the instructions, I was able to get the unit up and running within 15 minutes of opening the box. It works very well.

I often have knee pain, so I didn't go to the physio for this treatment, which I thought was a good idea. It is surprisingly powerful. The price is also very good, very easy to use, very portable.

Documentation and Controls for this unit are a bit hard to understand, but with some trial and error, it is possible to arrive at a point where the unit can be tested and proven effective. Due to the complicated "push this, then probably push that and maybe something happens" controls, I deducted a star. But I can confirm that the basic electric stimulation DOES indeed work quite well.Although I still have not been able to determine even by trial and error just HOW to make the various choices, SOMETHING chooses the type of pulse and duration being triggered for the electrode...There is a FUNCTION button which toggles between TENS, EMS and MASS, thena MODE button steps through various choices of NECK, SHLDR, BACK, WAIST, HIP, etcand there appears to be some different kinds of pulses per each.I placed it at the base of my NECK, for instance, and immediately noticed NECK setting triggers electrodes very sensitively, so the INTENSITY setting I kept down to 2,3, or maybe 4. Any higher was just wild.And yet, placing electrodes on my HIPS and choosing HIP settings, I could crank that baby up 10or 12 and still stand its wavy pulses.So it will definitely take some TRIAL and ERROR and messing carefully with settings to be able o make good sense out of what all this can do.I do see in the documentation it gives some SUPER IMPORTANT WARNINGS and advice, of not to apply electrodes where stimulation may flow thru ANTERIOR NECK, or TRANS-CEREBRAL or across the HEART. And of course, BEING CAREFUL for any of various other potential contraindications... and keep your doctor informed prior to using this device. WISE WORDS.It's definitely more than capable of POWERFUL and FLEXIBLE STIMULATION so be careful, and do take time to read the warnings in the manual.

I am very pleased with this purchase. It’s easy to use and helps relive muscle tightness.It also works for various parts of the body. Highly recommend.
