Bought it as a present for little nephew. He loves it! He can't sleep without it. The music and colourful light set the tone for him to fall asleep.

I have used this bear from birth for my son, he is now 3. It is the perfect sleep cue/soother.I used it outside the cot for a while, then when he figured it out for himself, I placed it in the cot with him. He turns it on as soon as he climbs into bed now. If he wakes in the night he turns it on and soothes himself back to sleep. He loves looking at the stars on his wall.So when baby no 2 came along, I obviously had to get one for her, but in a different colour so there wasnt any confusion. She was a completely different baby but still took to the bear as a sleep cue really well. She likes to play with it a lot (she is now 1) but interestingly, when it's time for her to go to bed, I turn the bear on and she immediately flips it over so she can play with the tag, either with her fingers or she tries to suck on it. It does matter to her that the lights and music are on, if it runs out of batteries and I haven't changed them, she will let me know she's not impressed!All this playing with fingers and sucking has meant that I have also had to wash it MANY times. The music and light box does come out of the bear. It washes remarkably well!Dont get me wrong, my babies weren't great sleepers until around 10 months, so don't expect miracles, but as a comforter, I can't fault it. It's worked with both my children and continues to be a valuable sleep aid as they get older.

Yes , I know this product is aimed at babies but my son began sleeping in his big boy bed and I realised that he became scared a lot in the middle of the night due to his new unfamiliar sleep surroundings. My daughter has the Fisherprice Owl , which she's used since being 1 and uses now to help soothe her off to sleep, and even 4 years later the battery life is beyond amazing.So I tried to find a similar toy for my son for him to associate with being his own. I am so pleased to have bought this it's just perfect! I really hope the battery life on this is as good as the Fisherprice Owl. My son cuddles it to sleep and enjoys looking at the stars and naming its colours. My 5 year old has decided to steal it for herself at times so I will need to buy another! A great buy.
