DeSantis makes great holsters. This one is perfect for larger frame guns. I use it with my G19 and G17. I love the extra mag option just in case. I wear it offset on my strong side hip toward the rear. Never prints on clothing but you do know it's on you because you are carrying a large frame gun. Not fears of the gun coming out at all. Solid grab and bit but easy to draw if needed. Clip holds firm to belt and will come up a touch on a draw but not out of the pants and no drag on the weapon. However, it can be a pain to put the weapon back in the holster once inside your waistband, but I have love handles so it might just be me and fat.

I’ve had this same holster for many years but it was time to buy another. The new one fits on my pants perfectly tight fit perfect fit for pistol and magazine, both right together for easy access. I wear appendix carry and the rig is so comfortable I forget I have it on and I carry a G19. Great product

Well made holster. I have a smaller version that works really well. This one, however, is not the case. That inner belt clip is murder to get past your pants(no matter what kind). I will try to bend the inner portion of the clip out of the way before sentencing this thing to the bottom of the forgotten holster drawer. Its great that it doesn't move(once you get it on). Rapidly approaching the "not worth the effort" zone.

For IWB, I only carry in the appendix position - anything on my hip (3:00 to 4:30) is just horribly uncomfortable for me. The problem is, most holsters sit WAY too high on the belt line for AIWB carry. This particular holster, however, sits EXACTLY where I want it for AIWB carry with either a Glock 19 or XDS45 (4.0" model): low enough that the grip doesn't stick out and say "LOOK AT ME!" but high enough that the grip isn't actually inside the waistband, so you don't have to dig it out awkwardly to draw it (allows your fingers a full grip to draw). The fact that it can carry a spare magazine (or a small pepper spray canister, or flashlight, or folding knife) is also a bonus.The two biggest gripes I have are the fact that, like all DeSantis holsters with metal belt clips, the belt clips have VERY sharp edges that require a lot of sanding to keep them from actually cutting your skin and/or tearing up your belt, and the fact that the extra loop for the belt clip (because it's ambidextrous) rubs against your skin and irritates it. I just took a razor blade and cut along the stitches to remove the leather piece, behind which is a square of Velcro that is harmless and non-irritating. With just those two modifications, I can now comfortably carry my G19 with a spare G17 mag or my XDS45 with a spare 7-round mag, it's comfy, it doesn't make me sweat a bunch, it covers all but the very top 1/4" of the slide, and it allows a quick and easy draw. YAY!

I bought this holster to carry my Glock 19 gen 4 in. A friend of mine told me he had one a while back and that he loved it, so I decided to give it a chance. So far I have been very happy with it. The holster is made out of a material that seems to hold up very well. It holds the gun firmly without a retention strap, and has no issues being drawn. My gun comes out very smooth. It has a pouch on it made of out a stretchy material that can hold an extra magazine if you want. I personally thought the weight was a bit much in one area. Luckily the stretchy material being soft and flexible doesn't get in the way at all if you choose to not carry the extra magazine. I don't even notice it's there, but being OCD I took a black zip tie and placed it around the holster to keep the pouch neatly folded down.The clip can be placed on either side, and at first it will appear to be an absolute pain to get the clip out and switched to the other side. A simple and easy way of getting the clip out is to take a flat head screw driver, and stick it down the side of the clip under the leather, and lift the leather up. Then you slip the clip out from under it. Putting it in is much easier, and just requires you push it in. The clip is good quality, and sits on my belt nicely.I bought this holster for IWB carry, which I do at about 1-2 o'clock, and it sits comfortably there with minimal printing, for me at least. I have carried it comfortably at about 5 o'clock on my backside under a jacket, but it prints too much with just a shirt on. On a side note this holster works surprisingly well as a nothing fancy OWB holster if you flip the clip around. Not bad for if you just want to keep the gun on your side for accessibility when you're at the range.Overall a great holster.

The description on the bag I got said its a generic size for large pistols, but by a fantastic coincidence it fits my Glock 17 perfectly. The glock magazine fits perfectly in the front pouch. The holster goes quite well inside my waistband and is easily made right or left handed by swapping the clip to the other side, which is something I wish the more expensive Galco holsters did.Being so slim, this is also good for keeping in a nightstand or security box, or in your gun bag going to the range. Only downside is no backstrap for holding the gun in, but for concealed carry I actually prefer that. The inside texture is smooth and allows for easy draw.

I wanted to wait until I had some extended use before posting a review.This is a quality made product that I feel will last a long time. It's easy to use and I find putting it on or taking it off simple enough. I haven't had any problems with it snagging or taking a lot of extra time to remove.Fits my gun very nicely and holds it securely. It takes a while to get used to wearing like this, and it feels odd and awkward at first.I'm able to move very freely when using this. I feel it's a good investment.

It either has a really long break in period or just does not fit P226 with a rail. I have had it for a month now and it is still difficult to draw the weapon out of the holster without pulling the entire thing out of my pant.
