Carnivores

As a meat scientist this happens to be my favorite childrens book. We give it as a gift to all of our friends expecting their first child!

I enjoyed this story. It was missing something, and I feel it could have done more with the unique idea it had (like not eating the owl). I love the pictures and my boys will get to hear this book several times from me. It needed a little more positivity to it. To me it was a potential book that flopped.

This book was not only hilarious for children but for adults as well. Very cute book with a great message to be yourself unapologeticly!

My sister mentioned this book, my grandkids are to old for this story now but I got it anyways. I love it

This is one of the funniest children’s books I’ve read. It is hilarious!! We love it!

Hilarious book for kids that all the adults in the family enjoy reading to them. Interesting message about going with your instincts- salty adults will love this.

My 6yo son was in stitches when we read this book together. He is at the age when anything gross, scary or strange appeals (but still young enough that scary can be a problem). The idea of meat eating animals is just scary/gross enough to attract his attention but this book approaches the subject in such a lighthearted manner that it doesn't actually scare but is amusing instead. it makes a pretty scary/gross concept easier for a child to understand and accept.

I have to say that the book cover is what drew me to this book. The lion, great white shark, and the timber wolf are carnivores. They eat other animals. It bothers them that the other animals talk bad about them. They come up with several plans. When they try them out they discover they need a better plan, How will they solve this problem?

This book is so cool! I love the art and it's a funny book! It's different from the other books. I also love the cover of the book. It's so funny!

I didn't like it. I think the pictures are very good. But the story isn't good. These are carnivores who eat everything up and overcome their bad feelings (because that's who they are); not a good line to teach your children I think. My 8 year old didn't like it either.
