I am pleased with this purchase. Recommended.

I grew up in Oregon where most hazelnuts for our country come from. These hazelnuts taste just as I remember from when we used to gather the ripe hazelnuts in the orchards in the autumn. They are the BEST anywhere!!

*Note* I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 because after contacting Amazon and the vender Nuts, they apologized and refunded my money. That's the way customer service should be conducted. * I bought this product as shelled nuts. They arrived with the shells on. The descriptions clearly said no shells, just kernels. I was expecting to be able to use them immediately, but now they will have to be shelled and the volume of nuts will be much less. This IS NOT a good value and total misrepresentation in the description. Shelled the nuts and got maybe 3/4 cup. This was such a ripoff for the money paid.

compared to other hazelnuts these are soft and spongy the flavor is weak
