Saved the summer
I purchased this item because we have no "traditional" windows in our living room through which to vent a portable air conditioner. The product was easy to install on our bay window, and was in place for the whole summer, allowing us to run the portable air conditioner and escape the heat. It did not provide a perfect seal due to the shape/construction of the window, but I don't blame the product for that, I blame the window! Nevertheless, even with an imperfect seal we did not experience an increased level of insects or anything inside the house. I purchased this in the summer of 2024 and now am preparing for summer 2025 so we'll see how it did in storage or if I have to buy a new one.

Works great and easy install- sometimes have to restick to window
This works great and definitely helps with my situation. I appreciate that I can still use the window even with the AC in it. It was an easy install and I find the adhesive sticky however, I do live in a city so when I am not home/ AC is not in use I remove it and crank the window shut for security reasons. This causes the product to sometimes unstick from the window. it's no big deal I just restick it but thought I would mention.

Doesn’t stick well
It doesn’t adhere to the window well. For my windows I was worried about being robbed so I barred in the window on top of it. Now I see that after only a week or two, the thing is falling apart. Now I have to take down my entire protective enclosure in order to fix the cheap tape. Not worth it.

Did the job but not very aesthetically pleasing
Used it on a casement window with wood paneling. The sticky backing wasn’t really holding well in some areas; because it didn’t bond well with the wood.The look was not very appealing. A lot of extra material wasted. But the product did its job. It’s kind of a one off product unless you buy new tape and insulation.

Good quality and easy to install
This worked perfectly for my house with tall crank-out windows! Easy to install, plenty big enough (could have easily fit a larger window too) and plenty of velcro so if I made a mistake I had extra to use!

Order larger than you think you'll need - but works wonderfully and holds up well
Order large than what you think you'll need. I didn't, and the whole inside isn't attached to anything. But, what is attached and is to the outside, on the windy side of the house, holds up wonderfully. Sat at my jewelry desk in front of the window during a wonderfully violent storm in northern Wisconsin, and it didn't budge at all. Keeps my upstairs loft bedroom nice and cool.

A quick and simple solution to tricky windows
I recently purchased a Portable AC Window Seal and I am very happy with it. It is easy to install and it keeps my home cool and comfortable. I was able to install it myself in just a few minutes. Works great & easy install
I viewed a few videos prior to the install and after it was completed I found I really didn’t need to. The install was very easy. The velcro holds really well and so do the zippers. I’ve used it now for a couple of weeks without any issues. I would definitely buy it again.
