I've been looking for a replacement for my Rat MMO7 mouse for a while now. The Rat is a great mouse and I loved the multiple thumb buttons on the side, but it felt very plastic and is more tailored for claw grips.I've attempted other mice (logitech/razer/corsair etc.) but they all had either odd thumb button layouts (looking at your Corsair Vengeance 95....) which didn't seem to fit right.The actual build is great. It's very light, which can be seen as either a positive or a negative. However, despite being light it still felt sturdy.The 'alternative' button (at the bottom of the mouse on the thumb side) is a great addition. Holding this with your thumb will change the colour of the mouse lights to indicate it's being held and then open up several more alternative buttons (i.e you hold it and click on the 'alt button' and click left trigger which i've set to 'number 01'). Realistically it's only the buttons on the top of the mouse you can use as alts as you can't control two thumb buttons at the same time. However this is still an additional 9 buttons ontop of the already impressive 14. Ultimately this gives you around 20-23 buttons to play with. Plenty for FPS and MMOThere's a myriad of options in the control panel where you can change light colour, set up to 5 profiles, double click speeds, scrolling etc. Everything you'd expect to find from a gaming mouse and more.The only down side I'd give is the actual Roccat website. If you read the instructions the mouse comes with it simply says, plug in, go to the website, select Tyon and then scroll down the page to the install section. This led me to install the wrong drivers as there was only 1 available. I had to completely uninstall, go to the website, find the correct Win 10 drivers and download again. Worked perfectly after that.Go to Roccat website, top tab, select 'Support' and then 'downloads'. This brings up a 3 question drop down. This is where you'll find relevant drivers/software.Overall, fantastic mouse, I'd highly recommend for all gamers alike. Irrespective of whether you choose to utilise all the buttons they're there if need be. Most of all, they're easily accessible.

I was a little unsure about buying this mouse, as it didn't seem to offer all of the customisation features others of the price bracket did, and I was also going to miss the ability to add weights like I had in my old Gigabyte mouse. However I've now been using this for a while for both work and gaming and I'm really liking the mouse. I feels comfortable, and although it isn't customisable physically the number of buttons and the variation in them makes it really versatile. The buttons are all nicely accessible, but don't get in the way when you just want to use the mouse normally.

I used the Madcatz Cyborg R.A.T. 7 MMO mouse for the past several years. I felt like a replacement so decided on the Tyon, as like the R.A.T. 7, it had a multitude of buttons.After a couple of weeks of use I can confidently say that besides some minor gripes I am pleased with this mouse overall. I have larger than average hands with long fingers and tend to hold my mouse in a hybrid palm / claw grip. I find the Tyon very comfortable to use.Here is a summary of my thoughts:Pros:- Mouse is comfortable to use with my large hands.- Most of the buttons are easily accessible. I especially like the thumb shift option. It's very intuitive and easy to use. For example I use thumb shifted left and right clicks for copy and paste.- The left and right clicks feel robust and produce a nice tactile click (definitely no mushiness!). The same can be said for the rest of the buttons.- The button programming software is highly configurable.- The tracking quality and accuracy is good (I use 4000 dpi on a leather surface)Cons:- At first the configuration software did not work well with my Windows 10 PC. I had to roll back the mouse drivers to a previous version in order to get some of the functions to work properly (TCU calibration). Also, the software takes a long time to update the mouse when you apply new settings (e.g. changing the LED colours or reassigning buttons). This isn't a major problem because once you have set up your buttons you don't need to change them very often.- The LEDs do not have particularly good colour accuracy and do not have many customisation options (I would have liked to have had a colour gradient option for cycling between specific colours, rather than just full spectrum cycling).- I am not particularly fond of the Roccat tiger logo, it looks a bit childish. Fortunately it is not that noticeable.- The middle paddle button above the scroll wheel is not very easy to use, maybe I will get used to it over time.

The media could not be loaded. After 1 year and a few months of gaming, the laser has slowed when I move the mouse from northeast to southwest and vise versa. See video. My older mouse is now back in action and was half the price, almost same button layout as well.The engine isn’t easy to use at first but once you figure out mapping buttons you’ll really enjoy the options at your fingertips. Changing profiles is slow, about 15 seconds between profiles saved, just plan ahead so it doesn’t feel like forever when you are already in game. The mouse however, feels amazing, feels like a quality mouse too, nice button clicks, lightly weighted for snappy movements, buttons for all sorts of commands at your fingertips especially if you are dedicating your keyboard to movement in game. Overall a great gaming mouse. I highly recommend this mouse. Doesn’t feel weak or worn even after using for a few months.

Un ratón espléndido, lo llevo usando unos años y aun no tiene ningún problema (tuve un pequeño problema con la palanca, pero se debe a la suciedad, asi que importante limpiar bien esa zona)Para empezar, la función que mas uso es el easy shift, que permite que los botones tengan mas funciones. Actualmete tengo que la rueda del mouse sea el volumen y es de las cosas mas comodas que he visto. Los otros botones tambien estan personalizados, pero no los uso tanto como este.Luego esta el driver, que viene con logros incorporados, no sirven para nada pero me encanta. Tambien tiene varios perfiles con sus funciones y colores distintos.En conclusion, me parece uno de los mejores ratones que he usado

Primär wegen der Mittel-Taste. Zusätzlich löste sich nach einiger Zeit die Antirutschhaftung auf der Maus an den Stellen vorne ab.Aufgrund von Raids in Guild Wars 2 war ich jetzt auf der Suche nach einer Maus mit ein paar extra Tasten um schneller und angenehmer Rotas (ohne Makros) durchrattern zu können. Gleichzeitig wollte ich auch eine sehr bequeme Maus, die für FPS, wie MW2 und Battlefield 4/1 geeignet ist.Als professioneller KOS'ler in der DayZ Standalone mit Winchester im Gepäck war es mir zusätzlich wichtig bei längerem Beobachten der Myshkino-Base etc. dauerhaft an der Maus sein zu können ohne sich dabei durch harte Kanten die Finger wund rubbeln zu müssen. Habe sie auch kein Stück vermisst!Das Roccat-Logo ist immer noch zu erkennen.Die Kanten der Doppel-Seiten-Tasten oben rechts und links sind nicht scharf, sondern sehr abgerundet und daher angenehm zu berühren.Die Daumen-Taste bedarf mehr Druck als erwartet und wird quasi nie aus Versehen betätigt (ist mir in den Monaten vielleicht eine Hand voll Male passiert). Außerdem liegt der Daumen darauf sehr angenehm.Software und DPI-Einstellungen waren wie gewohnt, ähnlich wie bei Kone. Nichts zu bemängeln.Einzige Enttäuschung:Das Roccat-Logo leuchtet nicht :D######### Fazit:Wer den Tip-Grip nutzt, das Design von Roccat mag, ein paar Hot-Keys mehr als der normale FPS'ler braucht, nichts gegen Dreck in Ritzen hat (oder entsprechend gute Reinigungswege kennt) und dafür gerne 50 Euro mehr ausgibt damit das Ganze auch noch leuchtet, der dürfte hier fündig werden.Bei meiner Fingerlänge und Griff-Stellungen nerven die Makro-Tasten kein Stück.

I like the mouse before time. Looks nice and feels premium in hands. Has enough buttons and toms of features to play around with.

Une très bonne souris qui peut paraître un peu lourde au début lorsque l'on n'est pas habitué aux souris gamer mais on s'y habitue vite. La prise en main est très agréable et je trouve la souris particulièrement belle. Le principal atout de cet souris pour moi c'est le système "easy shift" qui permet de combiné 2 boutons pour effectuer une action spéciale (réglage du volume, retour arrière, changement de mode de la souris etc.) grâce à l'appuie d'un bouton savamment placé sous le pouce associé à l'appuie d'un autre bouton grâce à l'index, c'est très intuitif. Attention par contre au logiciel, j'ai un peu galéré au début car il faut mettre des exceptions à votre antivirus, pour windows defender j'ai du rajouté les lignes suivantes :C:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\Tyon Mouse\TyonOption.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\Tyon Mouse\TyonOptionW.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\Tyon Mouse\TyonMonitor.exeC:\Program Files (x86)\ROCCAT\Tyon Mouse\TyonMonitorW.exePensez bien à placer ces lignes dans les "PROCESSUS" à exclure de Windows Defender et non pas les dossiers ou fichiers, sinon ça ne marchera pas. Sinon le logiciel est complet (avec traduction française) et l'on peut tout paramétrer. Je recommande donc cette souris à tout le monde. Je précise que je ne l'est pas encore essayé pour le jeu car je n'est pas encore monté mon pc (j'attend les gtx 1080) mais je suis sur qu'elle remplira parfaitement son job.
