Candy Crate Gustaf's Licorice Allsorts Sealed Bag, 6.6 Pound

Fresh candy. Very suggary, with hardly any trace of flavoring. But a good, bulk candy value.

I am a long time fan of Licorice Allsorts. Back in the day, the mix included cylinder-shaped solid licorice "sorts". I've gotten used to those being gone, but the mix I got 22-Apr-2023 had neither the cylinder-shaped pieces that are licorice surrounding the mallo-cream nor the "triple decker" cubes that are 3 layers of mallo-cream sandwiching 2 layers of licorice. The other three basic "sorts" are in the mix (with all their different colors/flavors), but I'm disappointed by the shrinking variety. I took one star off because of the newly-missing "sorts", and dub these "Licorice *most* sorts". Nonetheless very tasty and a better price than my local grocery store. I would definitely buy again.

I use it to satisfy my craving for licorice flavor. Not only do I just snak on it but I use it for a dessert after a meal in lue of cookies, cake, or ice cream. It seems to work well in that capacity. My only problem, while not a major issue, is that the candies are not as soft as I have had before. They are NOT rock hard (far from it) by any means but this particular batch is perhaps not as fresh as previous lots were but acceptable none the less.

Very good, but very hard. They could have been better, but still tasted good...so 4 stars...

The flavor is fine and there is a good balance of the different types of candies, but there are several pieces in each bag (I've ordered this at least twice) that are misshapen. It doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't order as a gift. I think Bassets are the best, but for the price these are a good alternative.

The licorice was hard for just opening. Almost no wheel shaped licorice. Surprising f9r the brand..

The candy tastes good, but is not as fresh as maybe one would like. With a bag this size you would want it to arrive fresh, so it will keep as long as possible. I doubt that we will be able to get through the whole bag before the candy gets too hard to eat.
