Excellent black licorice! Soft enough to enjoy and flavor is perfect. The price is very reasonable for how much you get too. Only problem is trying to limit to one serving/day. Will definitely buy again.

I love this item! Initially, I found Darrell Lea Soft Australian Licorice at our local Aldi's and purchased 2 7oz bags (all they had). Black licorice has always been my favorite... even as a kid...at 77 my taste buds have changed but I still salivate when I think of black licorice. Happily, Darrel Lea's Soft Australian Licorice does not disappoint, the licorice flavor comes though --intense and suprisingly soft and with time melts in my mouth.After several trips back to Aldi's, I could not locate my licorice--even the manager indicated there was nothing he could do. But Amazon came through! I found Darrell Lea Soft Australian Licorice, Original Black Flavor, 7 Ounce Bag in an 8-Pack at a price more reasonable than Aldi's. The ingredients are "pure"--nothing artificial. I'm trusting that Darrell Lee's black licorice will be available to me for years to come! Thank you Amazon!

I love licorice. This was very chewy. Stuck to my teeth was extremely pungent. It smelled like licorice. It was a very heavy tasting licorice I do think that this could’ve been cheaper. The prices are outrageous for the little amounts of foods we are receiving. Guess it’s time to go on strike for the little luxuries and this is a luxury now.

It was considered “the best he’d ever had” by my licorice “snob”!! Great anise flavor. Soft & fresh. And meets &/or exceeds all expectations. If anise is your preferred choice, don’t hesitate to place an order!!!

If you're a licorice lover, Darrell Lea Soft Australian Licorice is a cut above—natural flavors, premium ingredients, flavorful, and delightfully chewy. Yes, it's a small splurge, but for a premium, guilt-free candy experience, it's absolutely worth it!

Good flavor but very disappointed that they use hydrogenated coconut oil. Coconut oil would be fine, but nothing hydrogenated.

Great Price!!! and the taste is very good. The size is a little smaller than other brands and not quite as smooth, but it is very good Liquorice and is More Affordable with good Quality. I will buy again it is worth every bit of it ~ Brian
