I like the simplicity, size, and it's pretty durable though I'm not sure how long the rubber bands will hold before they deteriorate in the water. The holes and slots are all evenly cut and well machined, I don't see the same issue others are stating saying that the edges are not finished, it's fine the way it is. Sure the edges could be polished smooth but it's unnecessary. And the holes don't have sharp edges, it's just acrylic dust that can easily be rinsed off. Directions are not that great, but I didn't end up using it anyways. However, it would be nice if the directions mentioned what the screws are for (and how to attach the hangers, though it's pretty self explanatory), almost threw out the hangers not realizing they were in the box since the paper on the acrylic is the same color as the box. Turns out the screws are for the hangers!! Hangers aren't wide enough for my rimmed 125 gallon, but it will work for most tanks. Paper peels off relatively easily if you go slowly, it should come off mostly in one chunk. I appreciated that the paper was left on so the acrylic doesn't scuff during transport. The acrylic thickness is just fine, actually thicker than most commercial breeder boxes so I don't really see it breaking without (accidental) force. Overall good value for the money and water flow is decent. Originally purchased for my angelfish fry, but I'm not 100% sure if the holes are small enough so the fry will not come through or get stuck so I'll wait a few days for them to get a little bigger. Couple of tips for buyers: -Peel backing off slowly and it should come off easily -rinse off all pieces as there will be acrylic dust -suction cup works better if you screw the knob after pressing into the tank's surface. Loosen knob to remove suction from tank surface. Not sure if this was meant to be this way but I find it works best to tighten to hold suction, loosen slightly to unlatch suction. Similar to bathroom accessories. Tips for manufacturer/seller: -Better directions, include how to use the hanger. I see there's a video on the product page, but perhaps a link/QR code for a video online would be good or refer buyers to the product page on the instructions sheet. -Remove acrylic dust before packaging, there's a lot, it's a health hazard and gets all over. -Knob for suction cup has space where small fish can get stuck in back, would be nice to have this closed off or a solid piece. -latch of some sort for the top door would make this product even better. Overall great product and I don't really have any complaints. Simple, serves it's purpose, and is nice to look at.

Wow, perfect for getting mushroom anemones to attach to substrate. This fits together perfectly , I will use magnets instead of the enclosed bracket and suction cup, I will also glue it together but bands provided for that seem to be good quality. The price seems very low for such a nice “ cube”, units sold for reef tank use cost much more and do the same thing, I also like the tiny holes to prevent anemones from slipping out the bottom as has happened when I used small plastic breeder traps. This is very solid and well designed

Easy to assemble and works great as an Anemone isolation box. I think it would benefit from a second magnet though as just one makes it unstable and hard to keep straight up and down as it turns easily with only one magnet.

I wouldn’t use this for breeding but I would use this for quarantine. Just make sure you put it near the filter so there’s better circulation. Obviously don’t use it to quarantine sick fish just injured fish.

Great product. Yes it’s hard to peel the paper off. For me I used two knives to do it. A very sharp one to start lifting it from a corner. Then a dull one to grab it between the knife and my finger, about a quarter inch off, then only pull with just my fingers. I did it without breaking off a single piece of paper but only due to being very careful and slow and rotating the pull direction according to the small tips or holes on the edges. Stuff you know from having peeled anything before, but I can see why people had issues. Just take your time- peeling the paper is 90% of the time involved. After that putting it together took me 2 minutes. And I didn’t need the instructions for that. It only goes together one way…
