excellent was a bit worried after reading some of the ...
update on my purchase bought this 8 months ago its been used as a windbreak around my log burner in the garden (its a closed in burner so no fire risk) used rubber hammer bought on here to hammer poles in so as not to damage or break after a couple of uses just left it in place it with stood all weather conditions wind .rain, snow, gale force winds everything been there a good 7 months in all conditions finally one of the poles has given way and snapped/rotted at ground level but have to say thats my fault as its been left in the ground and not treated cannot fault it at all, a little fading but material is still good just replaced pole with a handle off a brush and its still going strong just be careful putting poles in not the strongest (use a rubber mallet) bit of care stretching it out and its fine """""""""""""""""""""""""""" excellent was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but no problems here good size and does the job bought a rubber mallet to put poles in and no problems use it as a windbreak for my garden log burner/bbq to be honest just left it up, been there over a month didnt break, didnt split in fact looks as good as new been out in wind and rain

It's pretty good, but buy a rubber mallet!
It is what it is - if you're looking for something to take on a family beach trip to keep most of the sand out of your picnic then this is fine. If you're going up mount everest then maybe not so good. One of the wooden poles broke, but this was out fault for hooking the dog lead over it and not thinking the dog would pull hard enough! It does its job and keeps the wind out though is not as tall as others spotted on the beach. Regardless of which one you buy, invest in a rubber mallet (less than a £5 on amazon). I've seen loads of people looking for rocks on the beach to hammer in the post and either hurting their hands or damaging the windbreaker when they miss. A rubber mallet will let you hammer in the posts without breaking them and means you have it up in a minute instead of fighting with it for 10.

Buy with confidence
Why did you choose this product over others?: This was again cheaper than most stores. Big enough to keep you private and still enjoy the scenery

Chump or champion? Didn't buy this model, or did buy it? You already know the answer as to which one you are.
the flimsy modern tent nylon fabric windbreaks were returned to the German supermarket brand in the UK. The both-sides guy lines and totally ineffective fibre-glass poles with inadequate feet on them got right on my wick. What a waste of my time....whereas these...it is not a proper windbreak if you can't mash it with a mallet. Stones, sand, turf, these go in, with our without mallet persuasion. And they stay in. They also break the breezes into gentle wafts of air. They are long enough, tough enough and good enough for my needs. As a design concept and a practical solution they still rule. Which is my way of saying that I am an old fuddy-duddy when it comes to things like this. Because they just work. I can put them up on my own, and take them down on my own. If you enjoy a wrestle with fibre-glass and plastic, don't buy these. Or to put it more simply, you risk being a chump if you don't buy this kind of design. Oh, and this model and brand is pretty darn good, too.

Seaside essential
Ideal for a day trip to the coast with family including great grandchildren. It will give some privacy when changing and keep the breeze at bay.

Price
Ok for the money, got this for the garden when sunbathing. Quality is fine . Single use only given the size. Would be perfect for kids on beach as its easy to handle and carry.

Very smelly (plastic) and not that robust - would hesitate to use in much wind.
