I used this product to protect a trailer that is stored in an open barn, I consider it to be a good visual deterrent. ultimately it could be broken into but would take time and attract attention.

Simple to use, a great value visible deterrent but other than on a small garden trailer use extra security..ie for caravans etc I have other devices on my caravan but bought this along with a wheel clamp for an ex-BT trailer..for which it is ideal

We feel safe leaving our trailer at the allotment with this device, it’s strong, sturdy & once on doesn’t move.

This is a very inexpensive way of securing a trailer. I expect it won’t be very difficult to disable with an angle grinder or sledgehammer, but if you’re looking for a deterrent against casual theft it’s ideal.

On the plus side I can see that this product will be easy to use and effective if it fits your caravan. However it is not universal as claimed, my modern stabiliser renders this product useless despite no mention of this in the description and most newer caravans having this type of stabiliser. I carefully avoided ordering the products that said they were not suitable for use on caravans with my type of stabiliser but was reassured enough by the universal claim that I ordered this one. They would avoid negative reviews by being clear about it's limitations in the description
