Excellent Punch
I work with a lot of hard steels. Everything from 1/2'' 347 stainless steel to 6'' 41xx series chromoly steel. This punch gets used daily and I have to say I am very impressed. I beat the brakes off this thing and it still remains to hold up. My old punch I would sharpen once a week and re-harden but this one I have not had to sharpen yet and I have owned it for 6 months. Great buy.

Old dude I work with uses one of these
He’s a total mean angry baby boomer and has used the same punch for the last 10 years. So I bought one and he made fun of me for it. Great center punch.

Good but not what i was looking for
It is a nice punch, but was looking for something 1/4" round. This is not it. Slightly bigger.

Super tough when used correctly.
We use a lot of Mayhew products in our shop (blacksmith/metal/wood). As long as you use them as intended, and take care of them, then they will last! Very decent product and will buy again.

It’s pretty large which is exactly what I was looking for. Definitely has a considerable amount of carbon in the punch. This will last a long time
