I have fitted this to a 53-year-old car and it works perfectly. The reason I bought this one? It has an on and off switch, so it does not kill the battery, which is very important on old cars. This is the easy solution and is very easy to fit.

Great little usb units. Only time will tell how long they will last. Installation was very easy although the wires that come are very short & I had to extend them to reach the 12v supply.. Nice blue led to indicate the unit is on.

Have worked well in my van conversion. all i wanted was extra usb ports and that's what i got. easy to install and do the job. Cheap enough to replace also

So this unit is just simple and thats exactly what i like about it.. Simple to wire up simple to fit and its just a nice simple usb with an on off switch its neat its discreet and its just perfect.. Honestly i give this a solid 10/10 (only just fitted today so we shall see what durability and reliability is like Over time) but so far I'm happy with it

Bought two of these for our motorhome. Fitted an inline fuse onto a length of cable to reach the fitting location, drilled a small hole in a panel for each if the usb sockets, fed the cables that came on the socket through panel and fitted them, the cable that comes on the usb socket is quite thin and good be better but they work fine, look good and we now have usb power.

Simple to install and it works - I had hoped for a higher quality appearance and feel to the touch, the switch is tiny and lacks a positive feel but things often look bigger on your screen than they are in reality! Overall excellent value

Easy to fit to our caravan. Used 15amp wire and run the connection direct from the battery. Charges 2 mobile phones very quickly which is what we wanted. It is also great to plug the phone into the charger when casting from phone to Firestick when there is no WIFI. I would highly recommend this product for caravanners.

I hoped to be able to surface mount without drilling holes. To be fair, the description doesn't say this is a feature. I was able to mount it, clamping the cable down. Not ideal, but I suppose with a little time with a craft knife, you could make a better job. Works fine, BTW
