Used this to make a sash for the taylor swift concert! Bought special fabric markers and they still bled. I think if you want to do it right you have to use fabric paint. The sash is open so you can make it any size. Could use it for all types of occasions, the satin felt thick and looked nice!

This product is exactly as nice as the other comments describe. The material is actually very nice and glossy while looking sophisticated. However, I believe my sash came sewed incorrectly. Either way that you turned it inside out, the bottom where the leftovers were seemed to be inside out, and not willing to lay flat. Additionally, I had read that others used heat elements on the sash to embellish/ glue/ emboss/ iron, but that was a disaster for me. We still were able to give it to the bride for a night out bachelorette, but there were burn holes in certain sections that the embossing told ruined. The embossing looked great, but the satin did not in certain places. I'm not sure if that was because it was too hot, but really it wasn't anywhere near as hot as a hot glue gun would have been.

We needed this for my sons costume and we wrote down something on it without any issues, the size was a perfect fit and he was able to wear it all day long at School without having to take it off.
