Great for large cotton reels

Very sturdy

Works really well but does come apart very easily. You have to remember to pick it up from the base to move it or you will end up chasing your reels around the floor like an over excited cat.

Wouldn't buy a gane it will break

I liked the price and the known brand.I thought it was possibly a bit flimsy where the post joins the stand but, as I generally have a light touch and the stand wouldnt get moved too much, I considered it fare for what i paid.

This does exactly what it’s meant to do. Though I’m sure if you took it apart each time you’d used it to put it away , it would become wonky as the holes got bigger. But for the money and me personally who only has a few massive spools of thread will only be using on minimal occasions.

Very useful item if you use large thread cones when sewing as I do. I didn't give it 5 stars as it is very flimsy; the top thread guides are plastic as is the base. The whole thing is pretty light and can easily get knocked over when you move your machine, which may effect the thread feed. I have preferred at least a solid plastic base for stability and definitely metal thread guides.Shame about the build, but as I say a very useful item.

I use this stand on my home sewing machine with the supreme thread cones. The thread flows to the machine perfectly fine. The only slight issue I have with it is when winding the bobbin. The stand is higher than machine which makes the bobbin thread not wind in the usual pattern. An easy fix fir this is to gently hold the thread coming from the stand to be at the same level as the machine. This stand is much cheaper than the superior thread's stand and it does the job.
