Purchased this book for my teenage grandson. Contains several of the popular Jules Verne stories and I hope he keeps the book to pass one day to his children.

This is incredible value for this leather bound of Jules vern works. I love to display leather bound books and this one is not only cheaper than most, its prettier too! Would highly recommend!

Excellent introduction by E.Hilbert provides background on Verne, his childhood, his publisher, and the mindset his readers at the time. This is followed by a brief synopses of each story, their historical significance.

These books look very nice. As there are five or six stories in each book, the print is quite small.

I’m only through the first novel as of now - judge all you want, I’m a slow reader, but at least I’m stepping up my literary game - and it’s a great read and a wonderfully manufactured book.

I mean, it's a book. Kinda hard to screw up a book. If you are a Jules Verne fan, then this is something you should acquire. The pages have a shiney gold edge to make it look snazzy.

La calidad del libro está increíble tanto los acabados como cada uno de los detalles que pueden observar en las imágenes adjuntadas. La letra es pequeña pero no dificulta la capacidad de lectura, no trae imágenes, trae un separador adherido al libro de color blanco.

The Canterbury Classics books have to be one of my favorite book editions. The covers always looks so beautiful and the golden pages are so elegant! It's the perfect collection of Jules Verne stories and great for people who have not yet read anything from this wonderful author.

Natürlich Jules verne kann nie enttäuschen , das Buch enthält seine bekanntesten Bücher , die Schrift ist sehr schön und die Qualität der Seiten auch toll!! Kann ich jedem weiter empfehlen !
