its a great buy for those who want a more healthy version of popcorn
this air popper works great! worth every penny. we use often and has very few kernels left in it. Very easy to clean and store. It does get very hot, so need to let the popcorn area cool before cleaning. there is area on top to melt butter to add to the popcorn if you want. Popcorn pops up really nicely.

Best way to make popcorn
This is our second Presto Popcorn Air Popper. The last one we used we have had for 15 years! Not only is this product easy to use, but it also is the healthiest popcorn you can make. Fun to use and doesn't take long to make a batch. Not very noisy. Worth the purchase for sure!!

Easy to use
Works good so far. Used it maybe 10 times. It's very user friendly in that all you hafta do is pour some popcorn in the removable butter melter/measuring scoop and poor it in the machine and turn it on. You do need a big bowl to catch all the popcorn. It makes a good amount. I'm pretty big (I can eat a lot) and it pops enough for my wife and I. You are better off melting your butter in the microwave or on the stove. Again I like to eat and I like for my butter to be on all the kernels (if possible) so it does take some monkeying around to do this with this popper. I told my wife that if I'm going to eat popcorn using this popper, it's not going to be healthy. But she's happy cuz it will be cheaper in the long run not buying the huge bags of skinny pop from BJ'S.

Good popcorn popper
I really loved my Bella air popper, which I think was decades old before it finally blew. They don't make them any more - and any out on the market are not available from a necessarily trusted source. This popper received mixed reviews - primarily due to un-popped kernels being thrown out during the first phase of heating. However, I've found a way to deal with it and really like this popper. Read on and you will note why I give it 4 rather than 5 stars.PROS: pops about 98-99% of the kernels and does it fairly quickly. Follow the instructions about measuring and it does a great job, and looks sleek and modern.CONS: at the start, when the un-popped kernels are being heated, they are thrown upward at a relatively high force and often some will shoot out of the opening. REMEDY: during this phase, I tilt the popper back about 15-20 degrees (holding it or propping it on something heat resistant) and the un-popped kernels do not shoot out. I always monitor my popper anyway for safety, so this is not an inconvenience for me. Once the kernels start popping steadily, I stop tilting the popper.Only once did popped popcorn jam in the opening, remedied by poking at it to loosen the jam and release the popped corn. It hasn't jammed since.

Improved Version Of My 80's Original
Works and looks better than my OG. First off, it's aesthetically appealing. Then add the power switch for added safety and convenience. Throw in an upgraded metal butter warmer that doubles as a measuring scoop. And finish it off with a power cord wrap to keep things tidy.Oh, Did I say that it works?... PERFECTLY...It actually does what the manufacturer says it would do. Healthy popcorn w/o the added oil. It basically cleans itself by blowing out any leftover shells. Unpopped kernels can be easily dumped out.Needless to say, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Pops that corn!
Works as it should and have had no issues besides a little warping on the plastic lid. After reading other reviews and seeing a metal butter melter on top, warping was expected. One thing we do that could help others, is we remove the butter tray and leave it off after popping the corn, but leave the rest of the top on the base so it holds its form as it cools. Overtime this has caused the butter tray hole to not quite seal against the tray all of the way, but I think it's helped from being any worse. One thing I would advise against, and I wish this was not a true story, do not try and wash out the inside of the base with soap and water. Unfortunately my wife did this right out of the box and I learned quickly how to disassemble and dry out the electronic components before attempting to use it for the first time. We both had a good laugh about it, and she was rest assured that no factory oils or foreign contaminates were present for that first batch of popcorn. 🤣

Deserves Zero Stars
The lid melted after 1st use. Fire hazard. This product is garbage. It also, spits out several seeds not popped.
