These shelves have been up for 8 month in our baby’s bathroom. They have daily sunlight hit them and have retained their natural beauty. I remember when we 1st opened these that they smelled like wood which I loved. Upon seeing them you could tell they are quality! The grain is gorgeous, they wood itself is smooth, and they just feel strong and like they will withstand bathroom use well! They hanging mechanism is extremely secure! Follow their directions and if I remember correctly there is a video out there sharing how to hang. If so, I recommend watching that a few times before hanging to get acquainted. These are super secure! Couldn’t be happier with our purchase! Other than being beautiful and secure, these have come in handy as they hold a couple of items we use for our son’s baths.

1. Not one piece of plastic is used in this packaging except tape on the box Amazon put the manufacturers box in. It was the most well-designed packaging I have seen and there are brand plates on the back if the shelves.2. Use the instruction sheet (on gorgeous paper) that is the same length as the shelves to mark the spacing of the hardware, fold it in half to find center, place center on the wall where you want shelf centered and check for level, transfer marks to wall.3. A beautifully hand written note explaining how installation is not simple but this is the best and most secure way to mount the shelves. This is accurate but it felt good to be acknowledged that I'd be making worthwhile effort in this almost personal way compared to your normal sterile and probably misspelled instruction manual.4. Awesome hardware. I've moved 13 times. I have installed and assembled my fair share of shelves and furniture. These shelves are on the wall straighter and more level than anything I've previously been able to do because the hardware is a little more forgiving than most and you can adjust the shelf to correct any slight angle.5. Smells great- this is real wood!6. Looks great!If I had to critique anything, I'd like the finish to be slightly smoother. But very impressed with this purchase!!! Buy these shelves!!

I read all the great reviews and was confident that this would work out well. However, if you have an old house with plaster walls, this might be a nightmare. The package came beautifully packaged and with all the parts. Great quality wood and nicer looking shelves. However, I didn't realize I had plaster walls until the holes were drilled. And by that time, there was a big hole and a night of horror began. I should've gone to Home Depot to get wall anchors, but thought I could use what came in the box. The screws were barely long enough to go through the plaster walls, but the end of it had to be screwed on as little as possible so that the little clip at the end could try to open up. The little clips at the end either got stuck (couldn't open up all the way since the screw wasn't long enough) or fell to their end inside the wall. It took hours of praying, pulling my hair out, and crying before miraculously we got it to work. The shelf itself looks great but the other shelf is sitting in it's box. I don't want to deal with it. Or maybe it'll make for a nice cheese board. Haha jk. I had high hopes for this but it should really come with wall anchors.

These shelves are great. The mounting system in particular is the best I've seen. The brackets are super adjustable so you can get them perfect for people like me that tend to be OCD about that kind of stuff. My only suggestion would be to have an option for shelves that are painted such that the grain doesn't show through. These are beautiful, but they would have matched my vanity better if they were just solid white.

We bought the naked shelves knowing we were going to add the rails and paint them. However, I did feel a little apprehensive making the alterations due to how great the shelves looked straight out of the box, which I should mention this product was packaged with great care. I we were not planning on displaying the glass bottles of the shelves at (The Olive Mill, Geneva IL) store I would have just done a natural sealant.We are very pleased with this product.

From packaging to product, this company delivers. Best customer service ever. We were afraid to open the package, because it was all so beautiful. We moved forward, and now we’ll buy more. The smell alone is amazing. Truly top notch. I wish more companies approached this level of all around pride and perfection.

I had a lot of trouble installing the shelves with the given hardware (toggle bolts and wing nuts). After half an hour, I thought it was secure, but felt like it could not hold much weight. I looked at the hardware, and I could not get the toggle bolt tight enough on some. I gave up. I just when to the store to get drywall screws and wallboard anchors instead. Nice shelves, but I think they could come with more options to install.

It was easy to install but you have to make sure your measurements are precise. The color was accurate as well. There is a slight scent of wood/paint. Nothing too overwhelming or distasteful. Subtracted a star because the length of the wood was not exactly 24in (23 1/2) and came ever so slightly warped. I would still recommend this product to others!

Just installed the 4 planks(all 16 inch) today on a brick wall. Careful markings are required but otherwise installation is not difficult(package came with clear install instructions).Strange that only the 16" set sold without delivery charge, otherwise would have bought 1x16" and another 1x24" set.The amazing thing is that each set came with an envelop, and in it, a hand-written thank you note, and for the 2 sets I bought, 2 different hand-written notes!Amazing - the first in online purchase. Great feeling to read how they feel about their products!

The product is as advertised and seems good quality. Have yet to intall it so can't speak to the ease of install.With that being said, be aware that they do not make any mention of likely import fees you will have to pay if ordering to Canada. The product was $94 (got the unstained option to do myself), shipping to Canada was $33 and then I had to pay additional fees of $48 that was not mentioned after delivery. Total came to almost $200 so double the cost. Take this into account when buyin the porduct as you can probably find cheaper options out there of similar quality.

These shelves are fantastic! The written and video instructions were clear and easy to follow. The shelves themselves are solid wood, which is astonishing for the low price! Easy to install and well-engineered in that the shelves can be easily adjusted. Very happy with this purchase.
