Well made, and a LOT easier to fit and adjust than a bandage!
I bought a "brand name", because I wanted something decent.I knew Elastoplast from plasters etc.The knee support is made from a thick neoprene (wet-suit material) on the inside, and a sort of "brushed effect" material on the other. The support has for straps that "velcro" to the "brushed effect" side. Washable, too - according to the box. Yes, it is a bit "sweaty" to wear (I am writing in August!). But it definitely, as advertised, keeps the covered areas warm ;-)I am not sure a knee support is better than a decent job with a traditional bandage, BUT a knee support is a LOT easier and quicker to fit and adjust! All in all, it seems to me like a well made, quality product.Seems to me like the sort of "proper" product that one might buy in somewhere like Boots etc.Only arrived in the evening, but I slapped it straight on, then drove with it.My knee was improving anyway, so I cannot say if the Elastoplast Knee Support made much difference or not. But I am pleased with it either way.

It was ok…
I had badly sprained my ankle. This was ok, but the material feels, and looks thick, and so wearing shoes with it would be difficult. It’s also quite ‘slippy’, so you do need to be firm, and tighten it so it’s very secure. Breathability was as expected from something of this material. Not the best. It was comfortable, provided a little support, but to be honest I went it alone, and my ankle did recover, so not the best value for money for me, but I’ll keep it just in case…

Knee support
I like the material feeling on the knee, not harsh and not too soft but just right. It is easy to place and can be adjusted easily enough. I banged my knee hard on gravel after falling from bicycle and I find this knee brace, wearing on and off during the day helpful to the healing process.

Looking very 'worn'
Tuesday 7th November 2023My INITIAL opinion of these gloves was POSITIVE (VFM, fit, comfort, support etc), however after having them for just TWO DAYS & not WEARING them for a GREAT length of time, they've started to look very 'WORN the MATERIAL is 'piling'(????), like a JUMPER after being WASHED/WORN quite a while/number of times!!! They only arrived on Sunday & INITIALLY I was impressed but NOW - not so much. I would expect BETTER considering the BRAND & the PRICE!!!!

Did the job!
I started with a painful knee last year, and was recommended to try a knee support. After some research, I chose this, and it immediately made walking a lot easier and far less painful. The only gripe was, after a lot of walking, the back of the support started to nip the skin at the back of my knee and caused quite a mess, but I'd expect that was down to my vanity in wearing it under my jeans instead of being in view on top of them. It's quite fiddly to put on in the first couple of instances, but once the knack had been learned, it was a doddle. I found it's very important to make sure the padded hole which fits on top of the kneecap is placed very exactly over it when pulling the straps tight, otherwise it can pull the joint to one side causing more issues.Over all, recommended.

Really good once you get the hang of how it wraps!
Took me a little while to use it correctly, but that was me, not the item. Has been a valuable support in my recovery. Very durable. Would recommend.

So very thankful for this product
Had three very large pieces of maple firewood tumble down the pile and land on the back of my hand, while it was thumb side up.I live in rural Canada and heat with wood.Moving enough firewood to fill my wood box, one handed, was suddenly more than a tad challenging, becoming a very slow and painful process.A friend, who had experienced a similar injury, recommended I try the Elastoplast Wrist Support/Protector, so I ordered one and was able to start using it three days after the injury, before the swelling had even had time to go down.Using it, I was able to re-split and stack almost a full cord of black maple ( ~2200kg) in less than a day, almost pain free.It appears I won’t freeze before the spring freshet after all :)A well made product, from a brand I have trusted for over 60 years, available at a very fair price. If my experience with this product changes, so too will my review.
