Spigen Tough Armor Designed for Galaxy S23 Ultra Case (2023) [Kickstand] [Military-Grade Protection] - Black

This case is on my Galaxy S23 ultra. I had my phone on top of an 8 foot ladder (dumb, I know) and knocked it onto the ground, it landed on the edge of the bottom corner and bounced. My phone had no damage. The protection for the screen is the raised edges. But your screen is still vulnerable as with most cases out there. I got a black one and it looks nice. It is no too thick to fit in my pocket. I also use a wireless charger with it. The kickstand works but feels a little thin. But that also helps it fold flat into the case and not make it thicker. It is easy to put on and take off if you need to. Great case, I like it.

I used Spigen Rough Armor cases for my previous two phones (Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S10+) and have always been happy with the look, durability, and stability of them. When I first chose a Spigen case it was after going through five other cases and not liking any of them. They were either floppy on the sides to the point I was afraid of the phone falling out or they didn't fit well around the phone. The Spigen cases had none of that. Fast forward to my latest phone, a Galaxy S23 Ultra. Considering how much the phone costs, I decided to up the protection and get a hard shell. The Spigen Tough Armor takes the great look and fit of the Rough Armor and adds in a hard layer around the outside. This case provides even better protection and looks great. I went with all black but I also purchased the gunmetal version for my child's Galaxy S23+. I have to say, I like the look of the gunmetal version even better than my black one. Of note, I'm also using a set of ESR camera lens protectors with this case. They fit inside the lens cutouts perfectly. No issue getting the case on with the lens protectors installed and the face of the protectors is still recessed in the case. Only thing I worry about with this case is the durability of the kickstand. Hopefully it holds up, and I don't use it very often, but I'll update if it does run into issues.

I have only used Spigen phone cases for the last 5 years and they always hold up very well. I am very active and always on the move. I have drop my phone multiple times and the case always protects my phone. I only replace it when I accidentally break the flip out kickstand that holds the phone up when watching a movie. Very good product I will continue to use it for as long as I own a phone.

Got this to replace my UB Supcase which is good but a bit bulky. This one is more streamlined, feels much better in your hand and although it has a very smooth feel (which is good) it's not slippery. It feels a lot closer to holding the phone itself. It seems to provide adequate protection although I wouldn't drop my phone intentionally to test it. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5. My one minor critique is the stand on the back. Very nicely situated when closed and works well when open. However, if you move your phone the stand closes easily and the phone drops/lays down. The stand should click in the open position as it does when closed. I've found that by applying a little more pressure/ slightly bending it open (without breaking it of course) helps a good bit. Again, minor critique.

Spigen everthing!!! I've swapped phones like crazy and I've chosen spigen for my last 6 times for my phone and my wife's phone due to the quality and capability of keeping our phones safe. My wife has always had iPhone and I've always had Samsung, but she has owned this style of case with hers due to a kickstand and I've always chosen the hybrid. She's dropped her phone multiple times and it is always good to go! I ordered a spigwn hybrid for my ultra 23 and hated it! First spigen that was bad due to its bulky and grippy sides. Got stuck in and out of my pocket and almost dropped it a few times. I ordered the kickstand version thinking it was going to be bulkier, but surprised that the weights are the same and not too much thicker. The hybrid says low profile but this kickstand version is pretty low profile. I put them side by side and they are relatively close. Biggest difference is being able to easily slide it in and out of my pocket without getting stuck, but still have enough grip to hold on to it. Additionally, I now have a kickstand when I need it! Honestly, I didn't think it would be, but it's a way better case than the spigen hybrid! I'll also say that I like the buttons better than hybrid.

I had my phone in my pocket and went rock climbing. It fell out. The phone plummeted 20 ft straight down, landing right on the corner sideways. The phone's metal casing has a tiny little blemish, but the screen is fine. No cracks. No scratches, nothing. The case took the vast majority of the shock from the fall. See the pic, the fall busted the corner of the case. But the phone is totally fine. I then ordered another case, my 2nd one. While waiting for that to arrive, I dropped my phone again as I was going up a 10 ft flight of metal stairs and it slipped out of my pocket. The phone fell/bounced down the steps on its side finally hitting concrete at the bottom. No damage whatsoever to the phone. Nada. What an amazing case. I now got my 2nd case on and am keeping my phone out of my pocket when climbing anything. As far as I'm concerned this thing has already saved me $350 in phone repairs, probably many times.

I was expecting a full case but got only a back, i guess that's what it was, i read wrong.. it's a nice case regardless

This is an excellent case for the s23 Ultra from Spigen the top case brand I love it

Bit bulky but does the job. Its safety of the phone is first priority, best case in market. Product received it right packing and good condition.

siempre me a gustado la marca, van 3 equipos que tengo que busco la marca de carcasas porque quedan perfecto, los protegen bastante bien y no hay fallas en forma ni espacios, las cámaras quedan bastante bien en los guecos y tienen unos milímetros mas de funda para que no choquen en caso de caída

Além de encaixar perfeito ela passa uma sensação de segurança a impactos pq tem um material tipo emborrachado, e isso da tbm uma firmeza pra segurar o aparelho muito boa. A capa não adiciona muito no aparelho não fica um magazord, pelo contrário deixa mais bonito. O stand de apoiar é bom pra ver vídeos mas eu não ficaria tocando muito na tela com ele pq não é muito forte, pra mim que uso pra vídeos somente atende perfeito.

I have used the UAG Monarch and Tonegate case. Both of them felt painful to hold at the palm section. But this case is more rounded at the corners, so I don't feel any pain. This case also looks more elegant than the rugged cases I have used before.. so over all, this is the best case I have used so far..
