Okay, I know, my title is very “I love lamp” haha but I do love these lamps.I made a sort of bizarre executive decision when choosing fixtures for our house to not have any overhead lights in the bedrooms. As such, I needed to find lamps that could be operated from the door and the lamp itself.I found these after lots of searching and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I LOVE these lamps.They were really easy to install, and while the instructions aren’t super great, I was still able to understand how to connect each lamp to the remote. What I didn’t realize when ordering is that the remote can operate both lamps together or each lamp individually, which is a nice feature (see my video for using the remote to operate one or both lamps). You can also turn each lamp on or off at the lamp itself, preventing the need to always know where the remote is. The dimmability and color temperature adjustments are vast as well. Overall I like the look of these, they’re easy to adjust for reading, the size is good, and the price was a decent value.After installing I covered the cords with plastic cord covers painted to match the wall and added Velcro to the remote and the wall next to the light switch.

These lights are perfect. Love the many lighting settings, timer, remote control, and moveable arms. Beautiful design and workmanship.

60 watt bulb at highest setting is not sufficient for true task lighting (I do hand sewing) but it’s definitely bright enough for reading. They look nice mounted on the wall, however would have been great to have good quality cord tubes to keep the cord straight. The clips that are included are serviceable, but look tacky. We bought tubes to hide the cord separately for $10 so still a good value. So far working fine. Very easy to assemble and install.

These lamps were easy to install and they provide light in hard to light places. Our house is over 140 years old and doesn't have as many outlets as we'd like. The length of the cord was great and the remote makes it easy for our son to turn it off without having to get out of bed when he's reading. He's not lazy, but who wants to get up just as they're falling asleep? I definitely recommend these lights - they're a bargain for the price and they work great.Linneaann

I absolutely LOVE these lights! They are made really well and look great once installed. They are packaged securely so that the lampshade is not damaged. Super easy to install using an outlet (I did not hard wire mine). If using with the cord I would recommend getting a cord cover and painting them to match the wall (see photos). The remote is super convenient and I love having the option to change the color of the light and also to be able to dim them. I would highly recommend these lights. I love them!

I love these sconces—especially after a few simple modifications! Out of the box, they’re a great value, but with a few tweaks, they look way more high-end. I added inexpensive cord covers from Lowe’s and used Rub ’n Buff to match the brass finish—this alone made a huge difference. I also swapped the original shades for some from Target, since the ones included looked a bit cheap in my opinion.The dimmable feature works great, and the swing arm is super convenient for adjusting the light. They’re not perfectly straight in the design (slightly crooked), but it’s subtle and not a dealbreaker.Overall, I’m really happy with these—especially for the price—and with a few small updates, they look like something you’d find at a higher end lighting store.

The sconces look impressive on the picture. But I was first surprised that the box was too small. The trick is that the shades are not pre-assembled, and they come as two wire rings and the roll of cloth. The assembly is easy, but the cloth hangs on tiny clips and there is a Velcro-style seam that does not look great. Once I installed the sconces on the wall, I installed bulbs, batteries in remote and followed instructions to pair.It looks that the base do not contain any controls, and the remote wirelessly communicates directly with bulbs. The pairing process seems to pass, but after pairing remote does not control the bulbs in any sense. No on/off, no brightness or color change. I repeated the pairing several times, and they still cannot be controlled. I e-mailed support and they sent me a copy of the manual which I already had, and suggested RTFM.I tried to press "wireless setup button" after pairing (not described in the manual) and the light blinked, and then it became controllable. So now I have some functionality.But controlling is very inconvenient: to select and control the light, one has to turn off the light, then turn on again and only then the remote can control color and brightness. Not very intuitive.Besides, the bulbs are not bright enough.The manual also tells about cumbersome process to adjust lights: turn them off, turn them on and then you can adjust the light. This is not acceptable. Most likely will return it.I do not recommend it - not ready for prime time.
