Newer Computers don't have CD disk drives
Newer Computers don't have CD disk drives so you have to use this external drive to copy and store data. Works great but takes up space. However it's portable so you just hook it up and use it when you need it.

Works well to burn DVD films I want to save.
It does a great job of burning DVDs and it is a nice convenience to have those extra USB ports on the side of it.

Plug and Play
My new PC have no CD / DVD / BR drives. This is a plug and play alternative that worked right out of the box. Played movies and grabbed some old photo albums. Win 10 and Win 11 tested. Approved by me.

Very good for burning DVDs. Easy to install and use. It does occupy two USB ports, however, which can be a bit of a pain.
