Great book. Bought used, seemed to be as discribed with minor usage and very little noteabls damage. I can’t wait to keep reading!

I ordered this book as a Christmas gift for my son, He was very excited! the book is very informative. He has just started reading it and he is already talking about opening a dance studio of his own.For anyone looking for information about the ins and outs of the dance world this is a great place to start. A great buy!

I bought one copy for my school library and one for a desk copy. This book is a "sampling" of dance concepts, but I find in this busy, "I want it now" world, my young dancers can relate to it. I also greatly appreciate the somatic section because, again, my young dancers won't slow down and take care of their bodies and I believe reading about the importance of the somatic element of body expression will enhance their dancing greatly.

I absolutely love this. It tells you about all different kinds of dance, and how to become better at a certain style! If you are just starting dance, defiantly buy this book, because you will know a tons about a lot of things, and that will only make you better! I would defiantly recommended this book to a dancer of any skill level!

Had to clean it because there was something sticky all over front and back cover, would have returned it if my daughter didn’t need it for class. Gross!

My daughter is an aspiring dancer. I purchased this book for a Christmas present this past holiday. The book is a great primer on dancing history, culture, styles and techniques. Her quote was "the best Christmas present this year!"

i thought i am buying a new book the cover is all jacked up its torn in a place and bent in another place christmas is around the corner I'm can't gift it this way I'm very disapointed
