These are quiet, even with a fan; run at a cool temperature due to LED modelling lights.Only slight niggle is no autodump for charge, but that's minor.

Excellent quality Studio Flash Light from Godox made from excellent materials and is built to last.This light is bigger than I thought it was going to be but at 800W it is powerful, powered by plug BUT I guess the size is to be expected due to the power.Power range is 1/1 to 1/64 I personally would have liked it to go to 1/128 even 1/256 BUT if you are using this light why would you want to go to that low power so I see why it stops at 1/64.Has a modelling light which you can adjust the power and has a quick recycle time which is what you want from a light no waiting around.As it is Godox I tested it with three different Godox triggers X1T-C, XPro-C & QPro-C and can confirm they all work as you would expect, so you can make use of your existing triggers which is a nice touch.The display panel on the light is a good size and easy to see, the buttons and dial is very responsive which is exactly what you want.Godox DP800III-V only comes with the light, power cable and glove, cleaning cloth and cleaning brush which is a nice touch. My only minor grumble is it would have been nice if it came with something to keep the light in e.g a bag, or even a cloth to wrap the light when transporting it. It does have a lamp cover which is a nice touch.I will say you will need a heavy duty tripod for the light it has a bit of weight to it and that’s before you even add a softbox so sand bags or something to weigh it down with will probably also be needed.Overall I am very happy with the Godox DP800III-V and I would definitely recommend it.

It is powered by outlet only and does not support HSS so you are limited up to 1/250s shutter speed.🟢 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀:⚪ 800Ws is A LOT of power, so there's a good range of power to play with.⚪ The power cable is long (It measured around 4.5m).⚪ It's compatible with a whole range of Godox 2.4G Triggers (I used a very old model at it worked fine).⚪ Super easy to navigate around the menu system.⚪ Modelling light is handy to have and has a variety of brightness.⚪ The strobe works very well.⚪ Features the Bowens mount (there are tonnes of modifiers available on the market).🟡 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹:⚪ It would have been nice if this strobe came with a carry case or the very least, have a handle on the box for easy transportation.🔴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀:⚪ None. It's a great strobe.
