Q: Do they fit if you have bigger calves?

My daughters calves are very slim yet after only wearing for roughly 15mins the zip burst on one boot.

It is quite tight. I have quite thin legs and I can just about do them up. The measurements are difficult to measure around the calf but I tried to and it's about 29/30cm for my size 40 (6). My calf is 30/31cm and gets a bit squashed in when wearing but they aren't uncomfortable - just tight. I can't completely do the zips up but they do up nearly to the top and they stay up.

Q: I am a 12 year old and I am scared they may not fit my calves even though i am quite slim!! Should i still pick size 6? :)
