Awesome product for diabetics!
My husband is a diabetic and because of that we rarely eat pasta. I tried Kaizen pasta and we absolutely love it! I didn't tell my husband that is wasn't regular pasta until after he ate it and he didn't notice the difference. It has the same consistency and texture as regular pasta and tastes better than chick pea pasta which we ate occasionally. Unfortunately, it is very expensive but at least we have this healthy option when we're in the mood for pasta. Now I can make pasta casseroles and feel good about it. With summer here, I'm going to make a cold pasta salad.

Sunday's and Thursday's Italian-American Family Dinner's Convert
Having been raised in an Italian household, eating at least two meals of pasta a week, Sunday and Thursday, being the standard, I couldn't think about living without pasta, but as an aging man, my middle is beginning to expand. I've tried everything I could think of to cut out to lose weight: beer, soda, sweets, chips... but no way in hell could i ever give up pasta. Now I don't have to. I just ordered the Ziti (love baked ziti!) and used some homemade tomato sauce I had and WOW! I love it. I love the texture, which isn't too far off from regular pasta. Actually, I like the texture better, as I cooked the pasta for about 5 minutes before I put it into the sauce and it stood up very well. I will continue to purchase this product instead of the boxes of semolina based pastas I usually buy (wont name them here, even though I had my favorites). I just wish they had Rigatoni, which is my favorite, but I'll live without that! And after consuming 2 portions, I don't feel stuffed at all, actually, I feel satisfied yet not over-full, if you know what I mean.

Doesn’t feel like a diet food
The texture is firm and satisfying, so I don’t feel like I’m compromising just because it’s low carb.

Gummy and bad taste
I’d give this a negative 5 star if it was available . Bought these to satisfy dietary restrictions for my family. They are HORRIBLE!!!!! They are gummy and have a bad taste/aftertaste. I cooked to minimum cook time and they were crunchy. Then cooked one minute longer and they were gummy. I’d rather cook 2 separate pots of pasta, that taste good , than eat this “stuff”.

Great low-carb pasta
My family was impressed with this low-carb pasta. We made the viral Borson tomato sauce with it and it was delicious and we’re gonna buy some more make other pastas.

Not perfect, but good pasta Alternative
Definitely a good product. I recommend it. The taste isn’t exactly like traditional pasta, but that’s understandable considering it has way fewer carbs. If you weigh taste against the health benefits (low in carbs, high in protein), I’d say it’s a positive balance. To summarize: the taste—and especially the texture—isn’t as good as real pasta, but it’s a great low-carb alternative. The texture is a bit chewy and slightly grainy, soft on the outside and a bit firmer inside. The downside: the texture (as mentioned) and, at least in my case, it caused a lot of gas… so if you want to turn into a skunk the day after eating it, this might help you get there!Overall, I’d give it between 3 and 4 stars. It’s a solid option if you like pasta but want to keep your carb intake low.

Protein pasta ziti
It holds up perfectly in the oven. High protein, no bloating, and tastes close to the real thing.

Acquired taste
It’s NOT pasta. It’s the lupin bean, so be careful if you think you’re going to eat half the box in one setting. You do that and you’re going to be in the bathroom with cramps and gassing up the place. If you’re the least bit sensitive to beans, this stuff ain’t for you. The good news is it’s great if you’re replacing a carb in your meal. This will not spike your blood sugar. Great for diabetics. The issue is the taste isn’t pasta. It’s nothing like pasta. I’ve cooked mine for 7 minutes to get it Al Dente or as close to it without overcooking it by a minute. You can’t make leftovers because the stuff will crumble.Lastly, it’s criminally expensive. $11 for a box of this stuff is dumb. My advice to anyone is if you’re finicky about your food, don’t bother. You’re going to think it sucks loads.
