The material is a heavy duty canvas, with plenty of triple stitching, as well as 2 plastic feet on the bottom. The belt loops are made of nylon tactical web material and again triple stitching.I use a 3 " black nylon tactical belt instead of a 3" inch tool belt. I find the tactical belt works better because it's thinner and more comfortable and way easier to adjust and just as strong as the tool belt. So keep that in mind when ordering a belt to use with this pouch.This pouch is twice as large and deep as my pancky finds pouch and has more pockets. The webbed pocket on this pouch will hold a 20 oz Gatorade bottle, if I put it in upside down. So it will hold a 16 oz bottle easily. I find I don't need a separate holster for my pinpointers with this pouch because it's deep enough and big enough for me to carry my pointer in one of the inner pockets as well as the outer pinpointer pocket. I noticed there is another pouch that resembles this pouch, but a different color. I've never used that one. But I have no complaints about this oneIt's the Best

I wanted something I could carry metal detecting necessities without using a back pack. This bag is perfect. I use my old gun belt to wear it around my waist.

This was exactly what I was looking for, not too big not too small. Very well made and great style. There are only two things missing that would make this perfect. If the top opening had a couple buckle straps to have the option of keeping closed. And I really think this needs a leg strap to prevent it from swinging around so much when you walk. I feel like I could modify this on my own to accommodate those two things, but either way it's still a nice bag and probably the best option on Amazon.

Good pouch but it’s really bigger than expected.

Good tough material very well made. I was beginning to think no one new how to make a good sturdy detecting bag. But this one is worth what it cost and have purchased plenty. This one is not cheap thin bad sawn junk. It's material thick, It is sawn good with also some brads to back up the sewing. Plenty of space for trash and plenty of well thought out pockets.

The description on the seller's page is accurate regarding the various features. The bag appears well constructed from heavy duty materials. The bag also has lots of room. Unfortunately, on my bag the pinpointer holder was sewn on upside down which is why I've given 4 stars. The large opening is at the bottom of the bag and the smaller opening is at the top. I do not know if this was just an issue with my bag or if all the bags were constructed with this flaw.I contacted the seller regarding the pinpointer holder. The seller promptly responded and favorably resolved the issue. The seller certainly gets 5 stars for their response and resolution.

I was very surprised how well this bag was made extremely durable. You can fit a lot of stuff in this bag. Personally, I use it for metal detecting. You could even carry a couple bottles of water besides the regular metal detecting accessories. There’s even a pocket with a zipper to keep your car, keys and phone very pleased with my purchase.
