It works, I don't know how, but it does
I bought this for a friend as a present. He's very much into his records (I recoil when I hear people call them "vinyls")You just pop it over the spindle and it presses down on the centre of the record - reducing vibration and (to some degree?) flattening the record a bit.I'm not sure how it works, and without getting all "audiophile", the sound does improve - it sounded clearer and more punchy (tighter bass etc) with this in place than without. In a sense, it appeared to "focus" the sound a bit. There's so much snake-oil when it comes to hi-fi, and I'm only reporting what I heard (including my own biases and without a lab and A/B testing etc) - but there ya go....

£69 for a lump of brass, but it works
£60 seems a bit pricey for a lump of brass, but it definitely makes a positive difference on the Debut Pro.

Adds something
Does add to the quality and also helps with some stability for slightly wobbly discs. A shame they don't ship it better, no storage box just flimsy cardboard and bubble wrap...

Nice and heavy
A really well made and heavy weight which works lovely for flattening warped vinyl. Yes it is expensive, but in my opinion well worth it. I have tried cheaper ones in the past and been disappointed with them. This one ticks all the boxes.

Possibly too heavy for my turntable
I ordered this puck to use with my Pro-ject Debut Carbon turntable. The puck is heavier than I was expecting, very nicely made and comes in a nice box. It's shaped to be easy to hold, and is slightly smaller in diameter than a record label to avoid touching the tonearm. While the difference in sound isn't huge, there was a small difference; a little more bass and focus perhaps, but I also felt it sounded a little more dull.I also started to be concerned that is was simply too heavy for my turntable, and that it would slow the record down and place stress on the bearings. On researching further, it does seem like this puck is designed to be used with Pro-jects higher end models (with higher quality bearings), and Pro-ject actually make a lighter aluminium version for use with entry level turntables such as the Debut Carbon. It may be OK if you're using the lighter acrylic platter, but I decided the improvement (if any) in sound wasn't enough to risk possible damage. I have decided to return the product and instead bought the Pro-ject Clamp-It, which I think is more suited to my turntable.

Where is the box?
The puck itself is fine and really does add something to the sound. The big mystery is... Where is the box??? I thought it would be a useful place to store it next to the deck. Now it just has to sit out in the open. A bit disappointing.
