If you are looking for an attractive, reasonably priced storage chest, this is the one.This storage chest is perfect for my needs. I bought this because my dog likes to eat blankets and no matter how many gates I put up, he can jump them. It is a great size to keep in the corner of the room, out of the way while still providing enough storage to be useful.What I Like: The lid does not close on its own for safety reasons, it also has good resistance when opening so I knew my dog wouldn't just open it out of the blue to eat the blankets that I'm storing in it. Overall, the storage chest looks great and serves the purpose I needed it for. It would easily hold 5+ puffy blankets (for my purpose) but would also make for a great toy chest to help keep rooms clean and organized.This storage chest was easy to assemble and took less than 30 minutes from the time I opened the box to being done. The directions are all pictures and reference the different assembly components with letters (screws and other components are labeled in their bags). They aren't terrible to follow, but they could have been a little more clear. This would be the only "drawback" and for me, not enough to drop this down from being a 5 star product.

Great bench and easy to assemble. Looks awesome

Absolutely perfect. First, packaged extremely well to prevent damage in shipping. Second, they provide a screwdriver and Allen wrench so no tools required! Third, they provide an extra dowel and screws (I actually broke one of the dowels so the extra was much appreciated). Third, instructions are clear understandable drawings. Fourth, assembled by a 70+ yo woman in an hour with no help! It would have been a bit easier to have a helper for the lid assembly but one person can do it. Last but not least, the storage chest is perfect for the purpose it was ordered (storing seasonal clothing). A true winner!

The only thing I did not like about this chest is the fact that there was an obnoxious (4"x2") orange warning sticker on the front of it! The sticker was very difficult to remove without damaging the finish. I would suggest putting the sticker INSIDE the chest. Other than that, the chest was very easy to assemble, looks great and seems sturdy. It came with every tool necessary to assemble including a screwdriver.

Absolutely love this for my son. Easy assembly and great size for storage. Also very sturdy for sitting.

Overall I'm really glad I bought this. It's the perfect size for what I needed and it looks great in my room. Towards the end of assembling it, it got a little complicated and slightly confusing, but once it was all put together it worked great and I even had some extra room inside. I'd recommend assembling it with a few people, especially towards the end. Most of it can be done alone until getting the lid onto it.

We grabbed this to store some bedding, and it's been useful for us. Don't be like me and try to cram stuff in there - because the bottom board is not strong enough. That's certainly no fault of the product, though - that's the fault of me trying to jam as many blankets in one place as I can.If you need a little functional trunk, this one is perfectly appropriate.

I bought it last week. I love it. It's very easy to assemble. The safety hinge is a plus. It's the right size as a hamper in a massage room.I am baffled though that the price has gone up by C$53.55 in less than a week.I was about to buy another one but I decided against it just because of the spike in price.
