Pros: Just a great basic headset I use for just about everything. The kit is light, headphones are comfortable and microphone has a nice limited capture in quiet and noisy environments. (I've repeatedly thought to been muted simply because I pushed the mic to the overhead position.) The cable is at a good length. Cons: * The mute/volume control block catches on EVERYTHING. It snags the corner of the desk, the armrest on a chair, even my clothing. Strongly suggest improvising a pocket clip to keep it out of the way. * This is a lightly-built set--the microwire cables are the Achilles heel. They will probably start to short intermittent (for my use [heavy and abusive] about once a year.) Again the volume/mute control box is the weak spot. But they handle coiled and uncoiled daily travel, the tugs and snags for that a solid year at least.

This headset is a terrific value for its price. It's a hard plastic headset that's surprisingly adjustable, with basic foam cushions and an excellent 3.5 mm plug. However, it's probably best to keep this headset in one place, e.g., with one laptop, as while it's not flimsy, it's not as solid as a headset for DJs/music that are considerably more expensive. I'd put this one somewhere above functional. While it's not uncomfortable, after an hour or two, I know it's there on the top curvature of my head, and I have it at the widest setting (yes, a big head), so I may add some padding up there. The ear pads are soft foam, not closed ear, so my suggestion is to be extra gentle in handling this. The little volume dial on the side was also unexpected, a plus more than a minus, as your keyboard may not have that option - or you may forget it does or how to use it - or you're using a product that doesn't have this. The sound quality from this is adequate to good though this, and not tinny for instance, but it isn't marketed or priced where one would expect rich, robust sound. This product surprisingly comes with a nice soft fabric bag with a tie string, though I'd recommend something more substantial if you take this on a trip. For the money, this headset would be hard to beat. While it's not cheap nor cheaply made, as some in this price range might be, it's not premium or priced that way.

Wanted sometuin.basic and light. These didn't look bulky in picks and not bulky in design, but nevertheless they just feel bulky and awkward fitting.

I tried two different budget models and I ended up returning it due to echoing effect. Other headphones had loud enough sound leak where other person on the line would headphones themselves which resulted in echo effect. This headphones sounded clear and person on the other line claimed tge same thing. My only complaint is that I wish there was a little bit more highs. So far so good.
