We have always had some fire extinguishers in the house and garage.. so felt a little safer when we sent our son off to college with a little extra safety. We've heard stories of fires and fire alarms at colleges disrupting the evening often, so thought a little extra safety was in order. Though he never has used it, it gives Mom & Dad a little extra comfort. It also lowers your insurance rates when you bring it to the attention of your agent. Our son has taken it to an apartment off campus and keeps it in the kitchen. The small canisters are perfect for apartment living - if you need a larger one - you should have called the fire dept. My hubby is a medic on the fire squad and has tested the smaller canisters and the dept approves these for home necessities. Not very expensive for great peace of mind.

For the price they not only work well but blend in well. Only draw back is when I look at them I crave soup lol

They're versatile for the types of fires you can use them on but they are small. It would be a good idea to invest in a couple of 10 lb or 13 lb extinguishers in case of a larger fire at home. But it's nice you can affordably put 4 extinguishers in different rooms of your house. It's a good safety-preparedness measure.

Pack of four. Put in my 3 vehicles. Come w a holder that you can mount. Directions to use seem simple enough. Hopefully I’ll never have to use them.

I bought these for keeping in my car and having on hand fit camp cooking.These make me feel safer as i have experienced surviving a car fire.I hope i never have to pull that pin.
