I bought this thinking it would be close to the same from other websites. I didn’t have to use it until a few months after receiving it. I used it for the first time last weekend for an install. The “adjustable” pipes don’t adjust. In fact one came higher than the other. I had to basically hammer it down to make it even to the one that wouldn’t raise. Also the push pins don’t lock into the holes, also one pushpin was so stuck, I had to pry it to go into the pipe just so I could link the poles together. All of them were just sitting into each other, not secured because the push pins wouldn’t connect. Then I had to reuse it again this weekend. The one push pin that wasn’t jammed was now jammed, I sliced open my finger trying to get it un jammed. I’m going to have to order a new black pipe and drape due to the poor quality of this one. I can run a business and have rental equipment this faulty.

The stand works and is fairly easy to assemble but you need to know, this thing is HEAVY. I made the grave mistake of not reading the specs as it clearly states the stand is 45lbs. It's absurd to think that it comes in a carrying bag because its impossible to carry in the bag because the weight of the poles and base shift all to one side of the bag, SO I don't even bother with the bag anymore.I could not get the telescoping tube to work to make the stand taller so it is stuck at the default size, 8x8 which is fine for what I use it for but i wish i at least had the ability to make it taller if i wanted to. It is plenty sturdy and will not bend or blow over. it will last forever, just be careful not to throw your back out carrying it around!

I have to say this is the best backdrop stand I’ve ever purchased. It is very sturdy, heavy duty, and extremely easy to put together. I love the weight in the stand, which will prevent it from falling or if I have an outside event it will keep it from blowing over. It’s well worth the price. I strongly recommend this backdrop stand to anyone setting up for events or photography.

I loved the heaviness of this stand, I had to order a replacement because I was missing parts the first purchase. The second purchase had to be returned as well because the telescoping poles would not telescope. I really liked this stand so I was sad to have to return it again.

I purchased one of these and it was missing the base and the screws. The box was damaged when I received it and they had put access tape on it so they knew it was damaged. I paid a lot of money for this so I ordered one and hopes that they would allow me to return the first one and they never replace the parts, I would recommend because I've had them for a few months. They are not heavy duty. Don't waste your money.

You can’t tell by the picture. Buy this stand is heavy, and very sturdy. I’ve used it a few times decorated for parties and it hold up very very well. I love that it comes with the carrying bag, but I still suggest to get some help to carry in and out. Also a tip: buy a screwdriver to carry in the bad for assembly and de-assembly magnetic one works even better!

The thing worked after some( what we call jury rigging). I checked it the night before to make sure all of the pieces were there. They were. I didn't check about the soundness of the pieces. Well, guess how this went, when my husband was trying to put the pieces together?? Some of the welds were broken. The way he put it " Who cares if all the pieces are there if some are broken". We had to have something to hold the backdrop. He took what would work and fixed it into a usable thing. I didn't return it because as I said, he fixed something out of the pieces. We did get to have the photo area at my daughter's baby shower.
