The taste is not great but the spice is insanely hot. If you eat it raw, the spice hits instantly before calming down around 15mins later.For cooking a small amount will go a long way, good value for money.

Very fiery peppers, with a strong taste and aroma. They pack a punch heat-wise, so use carefully when cooking with them. The size of the tub is average however, and doesn't represent the best value for money.

these reaper chillies are great and will last a very long time now my son want me to make chillie rolled chicken fantastic .. remember you dont need a lot to infuse the food with the chillieTaste:the taste is yes strong but it still has a very nice taste as well

The chilli peppers arrived in a little plastic pot, 8 pods inside which is more than enough for a few curries. I broke the seal on the side of the lid and took in the aroma which I found most interesting, a cross between dried fruit almost raisin and plumbs with a slight hint of tobacco, then comes a tingling sensation in your nose..Anyway, I intend using these chopped finely and mixed in with the butter ghee fried onions and other spices. Very nice product, well packaged in an air tight plastic container. Arrived quickly after ordering. Very happy with my purchase. 10/10.

Did I get a dud? Popped a whole reaper in my vindaloo paste and it had very little kick outside a Scotch bonnet pepper. Looking at the reviews my opinion is the minority, which makes me believe I was unlucky. Although perhaps fortunate it was not as spicy as the others state!!

This chilli is hot.Probably the hottest thing you'll ever try.I use in tiny amounts so it's lasts forever.It will give a warm and engulfing burning sensation, yet it has its own unique, smoked flavour that will keep you coming for more.Just make sure you use the quantity you can tolerate and the burning is straight out of this world and by the way, chilli has lots of beneficial properties (if taken with moderation).This definitely gives you a kick.
