Wooden Pant Stretcher-Heavy Duty Waistband Stretcher-Instant Stretch-30 to 59" Stretch Range

I've tried this with two identical pairs of 505 jeans. The first now fits perfectly but the second didn't really change.I used the same method for both, inserting the stretcher from side to side and then wetting them with hot water. I also put it through a coat hanger that was turned sideways so it could be hung up and left overnight.I found the device quite fiddly to operate and the best method is to shorten it using the left hand end until you can fasten the button of the jeans and then turn it until it tightens - remembering that it has a left handed thread so it goes in reverse. I think the rise of the trousers (measurement from top of waist to crotch) will also play a part because if the trousers button below the navel they can't be expanded vertically.Overall I'm fairly happy as it's cheaper than a new pair of jeans, but results are random and it's not the easiest device to use.

I cannot praise this product enough. It is simple to use, just damp the waistband and stretch as little or much as needed using the easy screw action. I leave mine for several hours, or even overnight. You may need to repeat, depending on the amount of stretch. However, the results are almost miraculous.It's such a simple, yet effective, idea. I only wish I had had this product years ago. Pants which fit perfectly elsewhere but are tight on your waist and consigned to the back of your wardrobe, are suddenly part of everyday wear. Comfort, once again, restored!

Good product and doesn’t bend under stress

This actually works . i’ve managed to stretch my Jeans waist at least 1.5 inches .There are other ones on the market but not as well made and durable as this one.If you have jeans tucked away that are to tight around the waist i would highly recommend this product.

Not is it to use but once you learn it does work

Works fine but probably best to wear gloves when tightening - the hexagonal tightening bar can get a little rough on the hands when stiff! One could use a spanner of course but if so be careful of over-tightening and ripping the waist-bands apart!

I am happy to say this actually works !Simple device which is well made from wood and steel so it should last a lifetime.Used it with a clothes steamer and managed to get 2.5 inches on a pair of trousers in a few minutes, I should think you could get more on a pair of jeans.Very pleased with it, the real answer is either eat less or don't shrink your trousers but either way this works.
