Worth the money
Bought this for this years hunt, and nature gave me ample opportunity to test its weather resistant features. As listed, it stays surprisingly dry for fleece, keeps the wind out all while keeping you very warm. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend this jacket for cold weather when there's a chance ...
I highly recommend this jacket for cold weather when there's a chance for some precipitation. I used it on an Idaho Mountain rifle elk/deer hunt and a Missouri River Breaks archery deer hunt this year. Cold weather for both hunts especially in the mornings and evenings. It is very quiet for being water proof. Very comfortable. Athletic cut so no extra bulk to get in the way, which is very nice for archery hunting. Range of motion is great also. One afternoon in Idaho we had some wet snow that blew in pretty fast. My top stayed warm and dry in this jacket. Because of the fleece layer on the outside, the jacket does retain some moisture on the outside when wet. It dried out pretty fast though and none of the moisture made it inside the jacket.I will say that it isn't the perfect top for archery deer hunting in conditions with absolutely no wind. Because it does have the water/wind proof layer in it, it does make a little bit of noise when you move around in it. In my experience, this is going to be the case in any water proof garment and this jacket is very quiet for being waterproof. I was busted drawing my bow on several deer in dead calm wind conditions because of the noise. With just a slight breeze, however, I was able to draw my bow with whitetail deer less than 10 yards from me and they didn't notice the noise at all. Because of this I just wore my non water proof fleece layers when their wasn't any breeze and I was perfectly quiet when moving. This jacket is pretty durable also and didn't pick up burs very easily. The burs that it did pick up came off quite easily. The hood is sized well and has a very smart connection system to the jacket. It is very nice to be able to detach the hood when it isn't needed. When you are off the beaten path in cold/wet conditions, you need your clothing to perform for you. This jacket performed great for me and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat.

Great fit, great for cold weather!
Bought for a hunting trip that was 25+ Degrees in the morning and over 50 degrees in the afternoon - Texas of course. I layered with a thermal and a jogging jacket and this and I was plenty warm. In fact, once the sun came up I shedded the jacket. Does not disappoint! It is pretty quiet but not silent. I feel like the deer could still hear me as I set my gun up. I don’t have a reference for weight, but it didn’t feel heavy or bulky. Overall, Kryptek is my new hunting apparel brand!

Runs Small But Great Product
I purchased this jacket for a hunting trip but had to return it because it was too small. I'm 6'1 about 190lbs and I'm usually right in between L-XL for shirts and jackets so buying tops online is difficult. I usually wear XL shirts unless they run big and usually wear a L in jackets unless they run small. Well, this jacket runs small. My cousin usually wears a SM-Med jacket so he purchased a SM and had to return it for a Med. Long story short, if you're torn between sizes get the bigger size.Customer service was fantastic. I was able to return my jacket and get a full refund minus the expedited shipping, which is understandable. I will be purchasing another one in XL for my next trip. All that said, this is a great outdoor hunting jacket. My cousin wore his on a 6 day hunting trip in Arkansas. The weather was between 30-45 degrees and it was raining off and on, but this jacket kept him warm and dry. We were pushing through some pretty thick brush and thorns but his jacket held up through the wear and tear. I go on a lot of backcountry trips, and I WILL be repurchasing.

I don't know if it's worth it
I have mixed thoughts about this garment (I purchased the pant and jacket set). My first thought was they are way too bulky, although they are bulky they were quit warm but not too warm as I walked around in 10F and blowing snow. As it warmed up through the day, I was dreading the thought that they would become way too warm. They never did! Now it might have only been into the mid to upper 20's but I still didn't get too hot. It was easy to modulate temp with the zipper. Later I noticed the jacket has armpit zippers, Funny I never noticed until we were on the way back to camp. What I don't like? I though they would be fleece lined, not fleece on the outside. After I got back to camp, I spent a lot of time grooming the fleece from all the sticky seeds that mother nature is so good at throwing at you. I"m still concerned about the warmth above freezing. Also the zippers. They are those fine clothing zippers, not a typical zipper you would find on a hunting garment. I'm concerned they wont last. But I have to admit, the armpit breathing zippers are a great thought. Again.... I'm mixed on my thoughts. The set is a lot of money...

light and warm
Excellent Quality and fit. This jacket is comfortable, warm, and quiet. I am very impressed by how warm it is for the light weight and feel. The fabric is pretty thin but kept me warm in a chair hunt. Sat for several hours in heavy winds with temps below 25 F and didn't get cold.

Warm
Haven't been able to try it out yet, living in the south seems like spring and fall in December.
