The only one I'll buy now, the rough / (very) porous nature of these is ideal for fast cycling. They are superior to other (smooth) cheaper brands. Before I started using these, I'd bought some others at a discount store, they worked out about half the price of these but the tank took forever to cycle and the tank lost that cycle on a heavy maintenance session (deep gravel/tank clean with filter isolated /untouched). The majority of beneficial bacteria had clearly built up outside the filter as it was easily lost. After switching to these, never had that problem. Worth the extra money.

There was no media bag supplied as described with this product.

these rings are perfect,in size and texture, they have the all important rough feel too their surface,which is most important for the bacteria to thrive on..

Poröser geht‘s wohl kaum, bin begeistert, finde ich erheblich besser als Siporax und minestens so gut wie Biohome, wenn nicht sogar besser (Biohome wird in meinen Augen etwas zu sehr gehyped). Bakterien haben bei Biomax jedenfalls leichtes Spiel, was ja das Ziel ist.Volle Empfehlung.
