I love this pillow. I suffer from back pain and this pillow helps to alleviate pressure on my lower back.

I got this for keeping my legs raised after hip surgery. While this comes in one of those space bags with all the air sucked out, it goes back to normal size once it is opened. However, it should be noted that getting it out of the box and bag isn't necessarily easy and might require some ingenuity for someone with severe arthritis. It's that tight.Although it got to almost normal size in a couple of hours, it took about a full day to stop expanding, meaning that you want to plan at least a little in advance. But if it was anything less, it probably would collapse too much under regular use.I'm about 6 ft and a little on the heavy side so I was concerned that it might not hold up to the challenge of substantial use. That, however, is not a problem. Under the full weight of my legs laying on top of it, it sinks in just barely enough to be comfortable and stop my legs from rolling. And then it stops sinking no matter how long I'm on it. After surgery, my legs were on it for the full night and the pillow stayed perfect.There are a few narrower pillows out there but I decided on this one because I didn't want to bother with the pillow rolling. As it turned out, I needed this width because I had swelling in both legs and this is the perfect width for that.It comes with a form-fit removable and washable pillowcase on it, though it's a pretty tight fit and I wouldn't want to get that pillow back in there if the case shrunk any amount.I was kind of wondering what I'd do with this once I no longer had the need for leg elevation. But after getting it, I think this might do well to keep for sitting in bed and reading. The biggest con, of course, is the amount of space that this takes up. Volume-wise, it takes up the space of about 3 regular pillows. And I suspect that the grandkids will enjoy using this as a floor pillow on movie night. Heck, I might too.

I was surprised by the quality of this elevation pillow - the memory foam is both supportive and comfortable and the size is perfect. The fabric is high quality and the covering can be removed for washing. I would recommend laying a thin towel over the cushion to keep the pillow nice and clean and fresh. It's important to position the pillow correctly and to view where it should begin, I wasn't sure the first time so there was too much distance between my legs and the pillow so I checked their images and saw that the beginning of the pillow should rest at the bottom of my lower hips. The only suggestion I would have for this pillow is to have a handle on it to move because the pillow is large and bulky - however given the soft fabric and the heaviness of the foam I don't think it would work.Highly pleased with this pillow.

I've been having extreme leg swelling & my drs have kept saying to elevate my legs, but with normal pillows my knees or some other joint would hurt too badly. I am so glad I found this pillow! I bought the 10 inch one for extra height.This pillow far surpassed most of my expectations. It bounces into shape right out of the vacuum packaging, and has no chemical odor. The cover is of high quality and has a zipper to easily remove for cleaning. The cover also does not slip around on the pillow, it is quite perfectly fitted to its wedge shape.Resting my legs on this is heavenly. It is soft, yet completely firm enough to hold up my very heavy water-laden legs without even making much of a dent in the pillow during (or after) use at all.I had not bought a wedge pillow since the 1980s, so had the lowest expectations. Design and quality have come a long way. Get one, don't hesitate!I also bought another brand of one on here, an 8-inch-high wedge in the Cushy brand, which turned out to also be excellent, just a tad denser and the case on that one isn't as nice as this. I ended up keeping both because I've found that having the 2 different heights helps me sleep better at night and I can switch to whatever is most comfortable.The only flaw with this pillow is that it's not quite long enough to support ny entire lower leg from knee to foot. I am tall, 5'11", and I'd need about another 4 inches of length for this to totally support my legs and keep my feet from hanging over the edge. So that is a drawback.But anyway, overall it's a great buy.
