MK7 GTI Sequential Turn Signal Side Mirror Indicator Light

I purchased a different (much more expensive) set of dynamic side mirror blinkers from one of the Euro-specific parts websites and was disappointed with the quality and the performance. The lights were just not very bright, and the extra nub that sticks through the mirror so you can see your turn signal was just black plastic - no light. So when I found these for 1/5 the price, I figured I had nothing to lose. I have installed these dynamic turn signals onto my 2017 Alltrack and here are my impressions: - Housing did not seem as well made as the more expensive set - seams did not look particularly robust. But these lights did fit well on the car. - The LEDs themselves are significantly brighter (~50%) than the expensive set, and the pattern is more diffused so that you just see an amber bar and not individual lights in a row. - The connector has extra rubber sealing on it, so I did not get a reassuring "click" when plugging it in. But I did a gentle pull test and the connector on both sides did seem to seat securely. - The price!!! These are amazing for about the price of a fast food dinner date. - No idea about durability - will revise my review if these end up failing.

J’ai acheté ces clignotants LED dynamiques csslyzl pour ma Volkswagen Golf et je suis vraiment satisfait du résultat. C’est une petite modification, mais elle donne un look beaucoup plus moderne et sportif à la voiture. L’installation est assez simple et le remplacement se fait directement à la place des clignotants d’origine. Aucun codage n’a été nécessaire dans mon cas, ce qui rend la modification accessible même pour quelqu’un qui aime faire ses propres installations. (Desertcart) L’effet séquentiel est vraiment réussi : au lieu d’un simple clignotement, la lumière défile progressivement, ce qui donne un style beaucoup plus haut de gamme inspiré des modèles plus récents. La lentille fumée ajoute aussi une belle finition plus agressive au rétroviseur. (Desertcart Lituanie) La luminosité est bonne et les LED sont bien visibles de jour comme de nuit. Le boîtier semble solide et le fait qu’ils soient conçus pour résister aux conditions extérieures est un bon point, surtout avec la pluie, la neige et le sel sur les routes. (Desertcart) J’aime particulièrement le fait que cette modification améliore le style sans changer complètement l’apparence de la voiture. C’est un petit détail qui attire l’œil et qui donne une touche plus personnalisée à l’extérieur. Pour le prix, c’est un excellent achat. Facile à installer, beau résultat et une belle amélioration esthétique pour une Volkswagen Golf. Je recommande à ceux qui veulent donner un look plus moderne à leur véhicule.

I'm not usually a fan of non-oem parts but for under $50 when the OEM ones are $275 I figured I'd give these a shot. They work and look great on my 2021 GTI. The kit comes with a Torx allen wrench for the 4 screws you need to remove and a plastic trim tool to help you pop the mirror out. Watch a couple of videos on youtube to see how its done and take your time. Be careful not to break any tabs on the mirror glass or the houseing when removing or installing. I did break the inner top tab on the first mirror cap when I was putting it back on. It still fits securely so I won't be replacing it. Just take your time and make sure everything is tucked in where it should be, the inboard side of the cap, the lower tabs and take your time when aligning the uppper tabs of the mirror cover. I probably wouldn't do this on a cold day when the plasic for the housing tabs are more brittle.
